  5. you can not go past Gavin Wood Autotecu aye. they know GTRs so well, compare to some other big named workshops in brisbane, i was so so so impressed with them... his number is 5529 2313

  8. why u run AFMs when you have D jectro?? and also, why the stock turbos remained on the car when the engine was taken out getting a rebuild.....sounds a bit odd for me.. as for the turbos, it depends on how long you wanna run them for. i would not go past 12 psi , to be honest. chasing power figure can be dangerous, and it is dumb.
  9. cheers, i will be doing my turbos soon, and the engine will come out to make everything easier. then i can do something about my oil control just to stay on the safe side of it...lol as for the rev limiter, i have never hit it with the way i drive it......never since i got the car, so it is a good sign,lol

  11. very educational....... as for the oil surge, how likely is it to happen?? should i at least get a sump baffle kit befoe i start going hard??? what about oil pump?? how long would the stock one last?? heard some nasty stories abou the N1 pumps recently, makes me wonder.....

  13. very sorry to hear man........... it gives me a lot of thinking to do now....i should invest some money on the oil pump/sump so that i can race mine on the circuit without killing the engine. for one i was told N1 pumps are good, bulletproof.

  16. yeah, i understand what you are saying. but internationally, GTRs have always been a success, although in different levels. even the R34 nowadays, can still come up strong against a lot of the super cars made, not even mentioning the HSVs..... so GTRs are not perfect, but at least legendary.

  18. ^^^not in the drag GTRs tho....we suck... and dont blame on the budget..... on the side note, we should try to stop importing any jap made cars/parts/anything, and see how well ppl here can make cars. we would see plenty of commodores with skidders doing skids in the rain. SAU would be closed as well.

  20. problem with rotories is that you see one, you see them all. all of them are pretty much the same engine, same sound, similar time, all of them can not idle, all in same chassis, rx2,3,4,7 at the beginning of the race, i was fine, but then really got sick of them aye...

  24. wasnt very impressed at all. theo quited in the morning after first run, and bloody did not see any fast GTRs completing any times at all. does anyone know what happend to Reece's R32?? did he blow the drive shaft or something??
