  2. i am sure if you speak to an importer they will be able too hook you up with your requirements. prestigemotorsports is one place. only problem with going through an importer is the price. You pay for there service. But hey you get your gtr right?

  7. i got no idea on your insurnace deals. i dont think he is wanting to seperate it. to fit into a r32 its straight forward. use the same xmember, and engine mounts, would only be a matter of wiring it up..... but it will take time.
  8. ah shit i ogt the 2 mixed up. was meant to be one thread. sorry. the bosch pump is rated up to 600 hp i believe. flows around about 255 litres per hour. In terms of real wheel kw i dont. at a guess, i'd say you would be safe to use this for well up to 280 rwkw. Once you make that sort of power, you usually start going for surge tanks, double fuel pump systems anyways. there a good pump, have had no problems with it for the very short time its been in. theres still meat left on the rotors. 31 or 32 mm.
  9. hey, got a bosch 040 fuel pump used for less than 300 k's in brand new condition, works really well. $250 which is well below retails sth east suburbs of melb

  12. well if you dont want to butcher your bonnet use custom mounts. he clearance for my bonnet is a fair bit. do it which ever way you choose to. both work. as for weight balance, throw that out the window. speaking from experience having a light as end, is all the fun. just dont get silly in the wet.

  15. hey, i need a road worthy for my car, as an office of the law spoilt my day. All problems on the defect have been fixed. tyres, strut tower bolt, interior bits, etc. I just dont know anyone who will do it with the engine not being engineered. Its onyl a minor defect, so the car doesn't have to go to vicroads. Just get the actual roadworthy. if anyone has some contacts, please let me know. tuesday is the deadline, and my rego will then be gone, so it would mean a full inspection by vicroads which would leave me in the shit. cheers

  17. hey i got an alarm that i need to sell.... its known as a Warlock alarm system. Never been used, has keyless entry, a siren, lume, instructions, and is also has an imobiliser. $220 melb
  18. nope..... the copper was in a rotory club. so he knew more than the usual officer of the law.... pfff he coukdn't know too much as i had a solenoid bolted up to the firewall, and he said oh is that off your old motor..... it was already for dr drift to do his thing.....
  19. my first car is the one i have had for 18 months now. was a 1.8 litre turbo, had no balls, put the 25det in. and today i got pulled over, and done up the arse, for power to weight, and a bunch of other stuff. $300 fine, and now not being allowed to drive the car, only got to drive it for about 3 weeks..... was only doing 60 in a 60 zone, but the copper got jealous, and wanted to know why his ford was no good... i paid the price i guess.
  20. ok, after being ***ed over with my rb25det silvia..... I am thinking of a couple ways to get out of the situation. option 1 - get engineers certificate, and hope that i pass, but continue to get pulled over by police, in a bright yellow silvia.... option 2- take the running gear and put it in a heavier car.... Do rb25det r32's need to be engineered, as they came out with the rb20? Would an rb25det r32 exceed the power to weight ratio opf 125 kw to every 1000 kg's? option 3- take the motor out and sell it off as a complete conversion, and put a 1.8 litre turbo in it. option 4 - sell the car complete and drive a datsun. option 5 - take the motor out of the car and sell the car as a shell, and sell the running gear all seperate. option 6 - Insure the car, torch it, and then claim benefits hehe.... (couldn't do that)hehe
