  1. That's why I have a twin turbo supra aswel They do it all except break haha
  2. Well wasn't that easy!
  3. Whoever at Porsche came up with that needs to be taken out the back and beaten with a hose. Same goes for panamera while they're at it
  4. Sen a pm to LotusGTR, he's after a set
  5. Oh you Fu(kers. I miss one and big red is there! Bugger!!! And Ash, he's more of an amusement stand style attraction than anything else haha Might have to come down and help out-I'll try and fit it in
  6. Well my mate didnt use AC, from memory he had a blown fuse, anyway his seat was soaked, shirt soaked, pants soaked, socks soaked, wiping sweat from his forhead down the straight. He did NOT have a fun day Dave and I are alike there, we LOVE our skylines in the morning.....like 6am in a nice quiet set of hills on deserted roads haha Daily drivers are great. You get in, it always works without fuss, zero effort to drive, comfortable suspension, no 3 plate clutch, park it anywhere, cops dont even look at you, skyline can be in workshops for months at a time and it doesnt matter......wheres the downside lol
  7. My secret shame! Done that once, Eastern Creek 2006, 42 degrees outside. Stinking hot day, so much free space on track cause most people didnt show up due to the heat. Left street tyres on and just went out there for a blast cause the day was all paid for, had the day off work etc. Went WOT happily, water temp was fine and oil temp was around 100. A mates GTR kept on splitting the stock intercooler pipe (rubber one) so most of the afternoon was spent helping him while it was hottest outside around 2pm literally dripping in sweat. Wouldnt do it again, id go to the pub instead.
  8. You will max out duty cycle on e85 very quickly

  10. There are kits available that keeps aircon. I forget who makes them though No way will I go without ac

    Trickle Charger

How long does a CTEK one take to charge a fully flat battery? Can it charge from 100% dead flat? I bought a charger for about $65, from supercheap auto, seems to go ok but has a very hard time charging from flat. There was a really good thread on chargers a few years ago
  12. That's my wish too!
  13. I wouldn't mind going to that event, I know which one it is. Never heard of anyone breaking 5th. All the cool kids break 3rd and 4th so 5th doesn't get a chance
  14. Borats entrance was good to his movie premiere. A horse and cart but replaced the horses with women hahaha
  15. I read this as "I've got very little/no money and want 300rwkw from a hybrid motor" Never, going, to, happen. By all means though, try and prove us wrong. Start a thread in the projects section once you start. A realistic approach to this is a stock rb30 bottom end with new bearings, forged pistons, stock oil pump etc and put the 25 head on. If your budget permits at this point get an N1 balancer and away you go. Get it all balanced and assembled by a professional and happy days!
  16. Oh yeah at any of our events you'll be able to see all the action from wherever the members are all standing around. Just follow the main group and you'll be all good
  17. There's no circuits at central station so not really a place we plan to run events haha Best one to watch that's close to a train station is the Texi events or the drag and dyno days although for drag and dyno it's not close enough to a station to walk whereas Texi isn't a bad walk (I'd guess 15mins from station)
  18. Looks like I'll rego mine then. Sundays are better for me
  19. Like I said the best bet is a thread in Qld area saying outright you will pay cash for a ride. The car you go in isn't the biggest part of the night, the afterparty is the bit you'll remember You seem to have your head screwed on a bit more than the others that start formal threads. I'd help out with my gtr but wrong city.
  20. Ps if you manage to get a GTR with aftermarket cams and a big exhaust it will sound SO good at the dropoff area. If you want attention, you found it.
  21. O.....k.... Kudos for not wanting an old yank tank for your formal. Having something unique is pretty cool of course, all those yank tanks are shit on the inside and most have no aircon anyway so you will show up sweaty as in a suit in summer. Fark that. A lot of kids are taking stretch hummers and thinking that's cool. If they only knew how wrong they are. For example I took a friends sister to her formal in a masarati granturismo and there was a stretch hummer a few cars back. No one looked at the hummer. The biggest issue you will have is someone handing over their keys to their pride and joy. Having an L2S doesn't mean jack either, I've got one, they're $100 and a few forms, probably a third of the members on here would have the same. There have been so many stories of people driving other peoples cars ending in disaster. Your best bet would be to start a thread in the Queensland section and offer money (not peanuts) for someone else to pick you and your date up in a nice GTR, mention the date, pickup time and location and dropoff time and location. Good luck with it
  22. ^That would be one wild ride.
  23. Pump 98 or E85? Either way, great result. These turbos are becomming more and more attractive now with Nissan based results. Good work!
