Mine's ECU's are great for paperweights as Paul said, they also do well as frisbee's or a donor empty case for a better choice like any Autronic or Link. Im sure in Japan they're worthwhile, sadly they're not worthwhile here. You're sitting on a few good parts in that list, a good ECU will allow the tuner to extract the best from those parts. A PFC (very popular option) will be a leap forward and they're so cheap these days!

Oh yeah agreed - believe me if I could let you guys all loose there, I would! In the past ARC rallies were even held there - epic, epic facility.

Sutton Road is different, it's for times instead of smoke haha. So no, we arent allowed intentional drifting. Ext gate not allowed there either. Their rules, not mine. They've had issues with noise complaints and cant afford to have any more - which is totally understandable.

Where's the issue from though? The stock fuel pump or the thickness of the lines to the engine?

Im working on that currently actually so cant say for now sorry! Wont be long and I'll have it figured out. It will be very typical of SAUNSW event's I've done in the past; loads of seat time for not much coin

I'll be putting up two threads for this asap. One is entry thread with forms and list of who's in, second will be info on the location and pics and vids from past trips there. It's just on this side of Canberra, so we all go down the night before and go to a pub thats walkable from the caravan park/motel place we stay at. You can figure how that night ends for yourself. Bring the boss with you if you want, make a weekend out of it and stay the night after the event then go home the next day. That video is an old club member who moved interstate, from memory it's a stock turbo on high boost, otherwise stockish R34GTT. Those days a high 300kw car was rare. I think he had something like 200rwkw, so yeah the GTR's with built engines and aftermarket turbos will really enjoy this place. It's just like an old pac/nasho drive but legal to go over 60 and no one ever coming the other way Trust me, you (and anyone else really) will love this place. I am SO excited to be going there again

Looking though OLD SCHOOL pics and threads for the upcoming Sutton Rd event, found this pearler of a photo - needs the caption "where the fu(k do i go?" Anyone thats been to Sutton Rd will understand, here's a teaser, this video is of the facility (but we drive much faster of course). Note; -Elevation changes -Camber changes (hard to see on video) -Crests You have NO idea how happy I am to be putting this on down there again. Strictly limited entry spots, only running this once per year. Remember, we dont have a speed limit

lol, descriptive! It's true though, the best thing about Michael is that you only have to ask him once if he'd like to test a course for me early in the morning to see if it's fun or needs changing, or rip a heli. He always answers with a yes and a smile, the man just loves giving that car a hard time haha! Michael was kind enough to take two of my mates (new to SAUNSW, one just bought a 260RS and the other is into BMW's) out for runs and well - they're both entering next time. Thanks again Michael

Yeah exactly - bit of friendly banter never hurt anyone I was happy to say the cab joke as I have a commodore which is basically a barge also haha. Mind you, doesnt go or sound anywhere as good as the blue XR8 that was there. Hope those guys had fun and come again
