  1. Haha ok ok I can do a wrap up thread for you guys
  2. Wow Gav. Just wow. Fkn massive result. So can I just check please the final result on E85, that's at 23psi? Did you try higher than 23psi on E85? Any graphs in rpm instead of kmh please? You've got to be happy with that result-must be just mental under boost in any gear haha And the biggest one......do you have shuffle back again now? Edit; I think you mean 500rwkw in the second last paragraph
  3. Yes there's space
  4. As Dave said, as long as the exhaust gasses all go through the exhaust and not out a screamer that's the main thing
  5. Yes help is definitely needed at this place, all help will be greatly appreciated!! So thanks guys, see you there
  6. Where's that other Evo loving friend of yours?
  7. Yeah thats a very valid point - will be a topic at the next exec meeting now The thing is though, the club doesnt run the events area, the forum does that and yeah if there's any changes made it will take ages as it needs to go through site admin
  8. Fkn LOL Ivan keep the pics coming hahahahaha Doesnt look like Alonso is very interested in talking in that pic
  9. Wow. That's SO much better than the local options. If you go for a set and get them, let us know how you go
  10. The Scud looks REALLY good!
  11. Some valid points there Matt but really it's a nonissue. Thanks though. CAMS are not involved here, and Sutton has outlined to me their guidelines on noise which are the same as when I ran this event years ago. If you'd like to continue, PM me, otherwise please don't post like that as it makes the noise issue sound like a big issue which will deter entrants who haven't been to this sort of thing before when realistically it won't be a drama. Edit: It should also be said that previously SAUNSW has run at this venue more than once and not had any issues with noise - even allowing straight pipes for exhausts and externally vented wastegates doing burnouts on the skidpan. One time there was a complaint from the old bloke down the valley who has nothing better to do but the Australian Rally Championship cars running around with their anti lag/launch control was the reason for that. Inspectors came, I explained the ARC cars are loud, they watched for about 15 minutes then left and didn't care.
  12. Go on Matty, start doing it on the side for mates etc and see if it picks up! I've always thought full race could almost half their price and sell more than twice as much as they'd be in the realm of the tomei ones - clearly they're not interested and thats fine it's their business. If you had the same finish (eg pretty colours) as full race, i think you'd be surprised by the people wanting them, just dont try make a massive margin on each set and see how they go
  13. That cant be right - too cheap!
  14. Accommodation thread up too, surely most of you guys wont need that but incase you want to come drink at the pub then you can just stay right next door (plus it's cheaper than a cab home)
  15. Wakefield do every day. The day thats booked is the booking we could get. Currently if we drop the booking, there's a whole list of clubs who will take over the booking instantly. The bookings are really tough to get there, but for some reason we haven't been filling our days there lately. Beats me why that is! All I know is that this club cant run events at a loss, so yeah pretty obvious what will have to happen. The sad part is that for the dollars, you get an obscene amount of track time as there's always a smaller entry limit on these days compared to say NSCC etc who will run slightly less price (I think it was about $25) but way more cars meaning more sessions per rotation of the field eg less time per entrant actually driving as there is more groups to go through than we run. Pretty simple when it's broken down like this; Pay about $25 more and by the end of lunch there's only about 5 cars on track so it feels like you've got the place to yourself. That comes down to us starting with less people, cars breaking, people having enough driving in the morning and just relaxing in the afternoon.
  16. lol yeah they pack up early if there isnt a crowd. They sell take away's though which is a lifesaver! You'd love this event, just like Deca but longer. Shame about the distance but you're more than welcome of course
  17. Good stuff Pete. If you want to both enter and drive one car that's doable. Just write it down on the forms so we cant miss it. Edit: Anyone can double enter a car, pretty simple, 2 drivers means two payments. You'll each get the same amount of runs as a normal entrant of course
  18. Thanks will add it to the first post
  19. Hey all, Nice and brief; Wakefield this weekend, heaps of spots available. If Wakefield days dont break even the club simply wont run them so get your asses entered Sutton Road is now open, entry thread is HERE and thread for accommodation is HERE Get on it - cheers guys

  21. Hey all, This thread is for accommodation details and questions. Any questions about entrants and the course goes in the other thread to keep this one nice and clean thanks. Please read all information carefully. We are staying at; Eaglehawk Holiday Park 1246 Federal Highway NSW/ACT Border SUTTON 2620 There is a pub next door which is the hang out/dinner place after checking in to the rooms; Eagle Hawk Pub 1542 Federal Highway (Dont know whats up with the street numbers, they're next door to each other) SUTTON NSW 2620 Hours: Friday 1030am till 11pm or so (Bistro from 6pm-9pm) Hours: Saturday 1030am till 11pm or so (Bistro from 6-9pm) The way the accommodation works is that the club will pay for the accommodation in advance and secure the rooms. Whoever pays for beds will have keys waiting at the front desk on arrival, so you show up, get your key, then off you go - no payment on the night. We are staying in these cabins (same as last time for any old school out there) which are quite nice and very clean etc; They all have reverse cycle aircon, bathroom/shower/toilet, kitchen, dining area and an LCD TV. So they're pretty well decked out. There is SHITLOADS of parking around each cabin (Which cant be seen by anyone driving past on the main road) and the place is very safe - which is why we choose to stay there. Prices are dependent on how many are in each cabin. Cabins sleep up to six but in the past that's been too cramped and the difference between four people and six people is less the cost of a beer , so not worth the effort or any potential saving. Cabins for two people = $92 total ($46 per person) Cabins for three people = $110 total ($37 per person) Cabins for four people = $128 total ($32 per person) This is the best option, anymore than four IMO and it starts to feel crowded especially at shower time even though these cabins can fit 6 in but like I said, not worth it. SAUNSW bank details: Bank - NAB Branch - Marrickville Account name - Skylines Australia NSW BSB - 082 356 Account number - 546 393 766 Please put your FULL NAME in the description, eg "Accomm JOE SMITH" So, all you have to do is post up in the following format once you've paid (copy and paste); Name: Joe Blow Friday night: Yes/No Saturday night: Yes/No Preferred cabin number: (Who you want to be in a cabin with, not your race number haha) Amount paid: Date paid: Cabins (This is the master list, whatever is on here is whats going to happen, post in here if any mistakes or changes please); Cabin 1; (Friday only) Double bed: Steve Smith Single bed: Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 2; (Friday only) Double bed: Scott Bunny Single bed: Al Yeomans Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 3; (Friday only) Double bed: Patrick Hamilton Single bed: Pats +1 Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 4; (Friday only) Double bed: Luke and Kate Dudgeon Single bed: Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 5; (Friday only) Double bed: Paul Triffitt Single bed: David Milano Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 6; (Friday only) Double bed: Matthew Ware Single bed: David (TIMING) Single bed: Mitchell King Single bed: Cabin 7; (Friday only) Double bed: Evan Field Single bed: Vaughan Judd Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 8; Double bed: Single bed: Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 9; Double bed: Single bed: Single bed: Single bed: Cabin 10; Double bed: Single bed: Single bed: Single bed: NO BOOKINGS ARE FINALISED UNTIL YOU'VE PAID INTO THE CLUB ACCOUNT!!! All bookings must be done in advance, paying on the night is not an option sorry.
  22. Here we go, thanks google maps
  23. Not really mate, the facility is not designed for spectators and there are no walkways from the start point to any of the corners so anyone on course needs to be driven to their spot. There's heaps of view from the little grandstand they have from the start to the first corner (first corner is so far away, without chicanes we can easily hit 250kmh it's that far.) You can also see a few corners towards the end of the course from the start line which sounds strange I know, but remember it's a loop. Ill get a pic and post up That said, there is always marshals needed to sit in chairs out on the course (safe positions of course) and radio in if someone hits a cone on their way through. Those people usually bring cameras and get the best seats in the house so to speak and free food and drinks throughout the day from the club. So if she would like to do that for a while (doesnt have to be all day) then thats great for pics. BTW Between runs everyone is lined up in a line similar to the line at TexiSOS days, and spectators etc can mingle and hang out with you while you wait for your next run as that area is safe. Hope that makes sense
  24. If only I knew how to do that haha
  25. If you put it towards the end of the month there's enough time for word to spread. Otherwise there wont be many people aware its on. Just FYI
