  1. Awesome thanks Brad, that will make life much easier!
  2. 240hp at 4500rpm.....wouldn't want to be taking this thing through many tight twisty roads or traffic. It would feel like a sling shot when it comes on though no doubt. The real shocker is 3000rpm, my stock 10 year old commodore makes more than that at 3000rpm, so just cruising around town this GTR at least in my case would be way too laggy. Sure the final number is great, about 542rwkw, but for anything other than drag racing, more area under the curve is needed. Area under the curve doesn't impress most people though compared to a big number, so not a lot of people care which is a shame
  3. Thanks for that! I will have a look around for suppliers
  4. Easy done, whats the link to the video on youtube? You'll need that before embedding
  5. Hey guys, Talking with some mates yesterday with setups fairly close to mine about running twin fuel rails and that got me thinking; Other than Nismo (which Im sure years ago was the number one choice before lots of fabricators outside Japan started making parts for these engines), who makes a plenum with stock ITB and provisions for a secondary fuel rail? Before anyone asks, yes i know one rail can flow a cubic shitload of fuel, it's about injector sizing more than the size of the actual rail. Also please no one say "upgrade to ID2000's" - we have them already. aaaaaaaaaaaand go! Cheers Edit: If anyone has successfully modified their stock RB26 plenum to accept a second rail, I'd love to see pictures/details if possible. Thanks!
  6. For the person in charge, he should really know more about history. Nismo only recently has turned into the soft image by selling exhaust tips and sticker sets for 4WD's etc into Usa IMO Before he showed up, Nismo certainly engineered their own cars;
  7. WOW thats a good looking car
  8. That second last pic holding the helmet is a really nice one Terry!

Easily the most enjoyable car weekend away. A couple of us come to the ones that don't clash with NSW events any chance we get. The guys and girls who run it are fkn legends, don't be afraid to ask anything if you're not sure or if it's your first time. It's great also in that the stress on the car is minimal (one lap at a time) so that's nothing to worry about, the speeds you do are not silly, you don't need big power to be quick at this-so many times we see the guys with commonly considered "slow" NA cars do heaps better than built GTR's. It's only $85. Give it a go. Anyone who's been before will agree its great fun and you'll also regret not going to previous ones because they're just addictive. Keep up the great work organizers and volunteers.
  10. Anytime! Feel free call whenever. You're putting the same cams and turbos on that it had when I saw it last?
  11. There's already a Few threads on fuel systems for bigger hp setups, well worth a read.
  12. Another option is a locally (well, to us anyway) and very trusted company "Motorsport Connections" in Seven Hills in Sydney. http://www.mscn.com.au/Scripts/prodList.asp Just an option for you as these guys have heaps of good reviews so if you dont use ebay and need a back up it's a great place to start.
  13. As long as it's getting there - that's the main thing. Seems as if Sutton is on the cards then hey - you'll love the big stroke engine compared to the 32's engine back to back
  14. Just like the RBR front wings last year on Massa's car Good work Ferrari
  15. That was Kory, I'm a little picky about who we put out there for photos on the club days - he's been in Melbourne for that Tough Mudder thing i think so those photos should be up soon His facebook link is; http://www.facebook.com/KoryLeungPhotography
  16. Love it when idiots put forged pistons in and say it's a fully forged engine. Got forged pistons? Then it's not a fully forged engine Got forged pistons and rods? Then it's not a fully forged engine Got forged pistons and rods AND aftermarket $5000 crank - THEN you can use the term.
  17. Start a thread in the NSW area - you will have a better chance Not a lot of -5 GTR's in here because most on an unbuilt 2.6 end up around 360/380kw
  18. Do you have a graph by any chance for that? Might help sydking make his mind up
  19. Do you do other stuff too? Engine mounts, gearbox mounts, diff mounts etc?
  20. Welcome to the forum. Yes it sure was spotted, here's the pic I took on the M4 for those that missed it With the S20 - as mentioned, it will cost a crazy amount to do, if thats not a problem then go for it If that kind of money isnt realistic, you can always go for a worked L series (which is popular in these) up to about 3.1L without much effort and will retain that awesome NA engine noise and throttle response. Last S20 I saw on yahoo auctions was 1.8 million yen and didnt hit the reserve price if my japlish skills are up to par. Here's a great little L series video More details on that car http://www.zcarblog.com/2012/02/27/performance/more-hakosuka-love-71-skyline-update.html Also for the engine covers, most of the club guys use Craved Coatings because if you're really picky he can match whatever surface and colour you want from pictures etc
  21. Lol very well done, the attention to detail is pretty good too! Shocked WTAC hasnt offered you an entry spot yet
  22. Done. Number 6945.
  23. Hahahaha yeah saw that the other day - fkn hilarious hahahahahahahaha
