Depends if the person is a "shop by quality/result" or "shop by price". -
Blitz Nur-Spec Rx Vs Hks Silent Hi-Power
N1GTR replied to rehab2010's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Either of those choices are a waste of time without the rest of the system. Do dumps, front pipes, cat THEN cat back at the same time. FYI I have dumps to tip all for sale soon. Has flown over 400rwkw. Also swap turbos, ecu, injectors, fuel pump, build engine, add twin plate clutch-those are all things btw that have been covered on sau time and time again. -
For sure. If they werent already, the top teams will all be redesigning their floors after this weekend

Yes actually, turned it on to one hd just as q2 started so didnt miss anything anyway

Haha dont forget the "mmm whats missing...." pic Also a hillclimb pic; And a big smoky launch; The aftermath of taking the engine out; (Yes, thats a GT block) -
Not everyone does it right. Those that try and skimp on the required and correct parts will always end up with a less than average result.

Rb26 Plenum Options For Twin Fuel Rails

Thanks for the help guys, I'll close this now as there's nothing really left to talk about before this gets into a "my tuner says" "his tuner says" kind of thing regarding DC and as mentioned, I don't care about fuel usage Cheers -Steve -

2 x 044's feeding through their own lines to twin entry rails. So two lines up and one return. Fuel pressure throughout the dyno sessions are logged and nothing's wrong there. Maybe in the future it "could" be an issue with the different fuels (not using just E85 and pump 98) i'll be trying on it so it's a wait and see kind of thing. That said, if fuel pressure is low, the ECU has provisions for that anyway. -

700 to 1000......that's not double I dont like to guess things - thats for idiots to do who dont try things for themselves and just believe whats written on the internet. Im dealing with the fact, so when i'm out there next i'll find the exact number. Not that it matters for this thread mate - i'll post results when it's all finished, nothing until it's all done though. Edit; This is all for a new engine I've got, and yeah without sounding like a prick, it's pretty clear that what applies to a normal 2.6L RB doesnt apply to this one - and I'm getting pretty keen to drive it. I know you know that feeling as well as I do! -

I was hoping for something other than Japanese Looks like adding the bungs to the stock plenum will be perfect, so I'll do that. -

Thats the plan It's hard to compare injector sizes and rwkw outcomes, engine size plays a part of course. I'm not using a 2.6 here so I ignore anything that size, reason being I converted to E85 years ago when it had just came out and getting it was hard, there wasn't much information around but 1000's seemed to be ok (had 700's) using the "add 30%" theory that seems so popular when it comes to E85. Put the car on the dyno, drained the tank of pump 98 and put the new fuel in, instantly maxed 1000's on E85 to make 403rwkw (i forget what boost pressure sorry it was a long time ago). It's all well and good to have the theory, but instead I have just tried it for myself and seen the outcome as my setup has been changing over the years. From memory it was something in the high 40's as a percentage change between the fuels for my car - everyone's different though so I just pay attention to my own -

I seem to be having a drama with the avatar upload section. Chances are it's an error with whats between the keyboard and the seat im sitting in I go to this page, and click next to "PHOTO" on the "Change your photo" box; Then I click on "Use a custom photo, browse" As soon as I pick the photo, it starts to load and you get the little arrows; Then this message comes up (the file is 457kb and a jpg) When I go back to the start and do it again but using the option to upload from URL, I put the URL in and then click "Import", when it gives a red box - which looks a lot like the first red box but doesnt quite load

Yes that would be good thanks, send me the details and i'll pop out during the week. No idea why those people would be doing that, if you're at the track use a jerry can of ethanol, then use pump fuel for the trip home and if not using an ethanol sensor have a laptop and two tunes. Having two tanks just seems silly, but yeah money is money. I'm not doing it for any reason like that though, mine is quite an obvious one which is injectors getting close to maxed and they're the biggest available from Injector Dynamics (don't want to run any other brand, very happy with these), so with more power on the way something has to be done -

Well from Iphone you need the URL, so go to the video on the phone under the youtube app, go to the share video button and then click email. It will then give you the URL in an email, cut and paste the URL but only copy up until the "&". Simply insert the copied URL into a post on here on it's own line and SAU should do the rest for you. I have done it below for you, if you aren't sure, click "reply" to my post and read the URL in there for yourself which will be down two lines after the end of this sentence. -
733 R.w.h.p. Rb 28 With 93 Oct And 23.5 Psi

Yeah fair enough but also it's a POS and has no turbo. Anyway, I'm not trying to put this result down or anything, just IMO it doesn't seem to be a very usable car around town. Who knows, the owner may just love revving the shit out of it and good on him cause above 5500rpm it would be moving bigtime and would leave my GTR for dead in a straight line. FYI Paul makes 201rwhp at 3000rpm, 270 cams, 2.8 etc which is close enough to 2.3 times the power. So yeah has certainly be done. -
