  1. Fair enough, my mistake!
  2. You're using the stock oil pressure gauge aren't you? Try a QUALITY aftermarket one and leave the stock temp gauge for now if you're on a budget. A great option is the defi tri gauge
  3. 67mm versions are too big. Go the 60mm versions for your power goal.
  4. It's exactly like belting through National Park. Exactly
  5. Yeah you can have as many tries as you like to shut it up.
  6. Next time I speak to you (not online)
  7. JEZ when you're tired of the stock motor give me a call. I've got something for you stock rb26 block guys
  8. Well said on both points
  9. I've been in Ash's car on 9's and later on 5's. The 9's in the hills were great, I was seriously impressed for a 2.6. Just seems a waste IMO on a built engine to not push more HP. Now his car IMO feels even better with the 5's, but in a slightly different way It's too much of a personal choice for any of us to help you get over the line, it's a choice you need to make. Maybe just flip a coin lol Edit; I know Unigroup have -9 and -5 results on the dyno which are comparable but you'll come to the same issue; what do you want
  10. Well of course, the 5's have a bigger hit and allow close to another 80rwkw for when you're sick of 350kw. In saying that, you've never driven even 200awkw? Then all of this to be honest is a bit of a waste of time, either option will have you holding on for your life at 20psj
  11. There is more of a "wow" factor as they come onto boost. To anyone that hasn't experienced turbos cars much, the one that feels the fastest is the one that has the bigger transition onto boost. Eg, if it makes 100kw at 2500rpm then 350kw at 3500rpm that's a Fkn huge shove in the back over 1000rpm spread. That will impress your mates and will feel quick. Plus driving a car like that has a certain appeal, it's fun to feel the transition and get pinned to the seat. Edit; also when you get used to the power of them at 1bar or whatever, you can turn them up to about 26psi and if the rest of the car is up to scratch you'll be over 400kw.
  12. Easy as. You'll be owning 5's in that case FYI
  13. Next season we really need to use the one from last season. SO much better than the Castrol one
  14. It's been more than an hour. What was purchased?
  15. That's pump 98 too, this bloke isn't keen on E85
  16. When you speak to Yavuz next ask him about that, a mate did something close to 352rwkw IIRC on -9's but with everything done to the car. Everything.
  17. 05U is stock RB26 24U is N1 RB26 RRR is GT (NISMO for JGTC) The GT is the strongest of the bunch. If you are building a monster (and therefore budget isn't as much of a concern as someone doing a stock rebuild as an example), try and find a GT Block. As for early 05U being stronger than 24U, the only way to know for sure is to get them both independently tested (metallurgy). But personally I can't believe any 05U is better than any 24U.
  18. You need something like the photobucket app to do that. I use it with a 4S
  19. The worst things happen to the nicest people unfortunately. C is a dead set legend and genuinely nice bloke, he doesn't deserve this.
  20. Off topic posts removed, this is Paul's thread, not advertising for a particular company. Thanks guys Please do a search, there's literally dozens of threads on this throughout the forum.
