  1. I did try getting on there in the past and it was a no (cost vs what we get), but I'll try again soon. From what I've seen of it, it's nothing on Sutton, has WAY more trees on the side of the road and is shorter. Thanks though I will look into it again in the future, maybe as just a once off type thing
  2. This is fantastic. Will be following as it progresses
  3. Yeah on the timing we used electronic timing for the first time (as you all saw), a few bugs need to be ironed out and as this was the first time using these guys at an event like this (we have used them for Wakefield and Eastern Creek over the years), I think it went really well. Dave (or "Timer Dave" as we call him to not get confused) was really great throughout the day and I'll happily book Timer Dave for any other events I can. The downside to using the electronic timing is that theres so much functionality on the system Timer Dave and I need to figure out a few things which will be easy as now he's seen how a day works and I know how the timing gear works. I'll get him on to the penalties and ask how to update Natsoft etc and next time include them in the Natsoft times straight away Sorry about that guys, other than that I think the day went well
  4. Lol You win for the best display at the crest hahaha
  5. WOW THAT TRACK IS FUN!!!!! HUGE thanks to all the marshals and volunteers for putting in the time to help out throughout the day Let's see pics and videos guys and most importantly what did you all think of that place? Early morning; Results http://www.natsoft.c...19/05/2012.SUTR Also any pics in here will be posted in an album for the event under our Facebook account, please say if that's not ok and we wont use them
  6. One thread is enough, the one in FI can stay open
  7. Well depends on voltage and how wide the ID of the line is, but you'd be able to have a safe guesstimate of about 30 seconds based on 300lph and a big line ID (enough for 1.5L).
  8. Dash 6 is the most common, dash 8 for some i think. It's a well thought out little device, but yes as you said if you're E85 you'd have 2 pumps and a larger tank anyway. This would suit anyone IMO who's on either E85 or pump fuel and around 350kw because they just dont need that extra pump. Very good find!
  9. Looks great, the inlet to the pump looks quite small - maybe it's just the angle of the picture?!
  10. I think prepare for disappointment then haha, the only thing it has going for it is the alcohol. I guess enough of that and almost anyone looks good, so there's hope; Alcohol IS the answer!
  11. The engine and box may be cheap and sticking to your budget, but what about actually fitting it to the car and making it work - that wont be as cheap as existing RB mounts
  12. We prefer to not do entries on the day as it's pretty crazy for the volunteers in the mornings, and we are short a few volunteers for this, but if that's the only way you can do it.....
  13. Yes spaces left. Send the form and money today and you'll be fine. There is no extra cost for the CAMS license other than the actual cost of the license (eg it costs you no more to do it on the day, but the license cost still has to be paid)
  14. Scott, don't worry so much! You'll live longer There is a slow lap at the start where everyone goes in single file at a slow pace so you will be familiar with the track. By mega power, I'm talking 420rwkw and upwards. I'd expect you to be in 2nd or 3rd for the whole run (of course with the exception of 1st at 7500rpm for the launch at the start) Also that crest is like any crest you see in hilly parts of Sydney, for example the big one in Greenwich. You're not encouraged to go flat out over it and by doing so your time will be slower anyway so stuff that. If it's really bothering you I'll take you to it in the morning before runs start and drive over it myself with you in the car to demonstrate it's perfectly harmless when common sense is used
  15. Lol, well, here's one person going for times haha Great stuff mate!!
