  1. 2:17 on slicks...full circuit...damp track. he is holding a drive day over there later in the year....i just got my invite...woohoo!
  2. Yeah the 3rd gear is very unfriendly with big power/torque...mine broke accelerating out of turn 9 at the creek...not on shift. So even if you shift it like a baby it may shatter rolling back on the power after its shifted. Mine was even cryo treated...GTR dogboxes can be hired for around $500 a meet from Red R Racing i believe.
  3. cool...edited nicely...well done son!
  4. yes 33 rims are ok with r32 rims the back of the caliper needs a bit taken off it to fit.
  5. Yes it should come up as a Vi-pec.
  6. And here i was trying to be funny and i was on the money. We tried reflashing a Link with the Vi-pec firmware to test the theory that the hardware was the same...it didn't work. We tried flashing it back and it wouldn't work back as a Link...we killed it! Link sent us another one to replace it.
  7. CeJay...my last post was supposed to be funny...sorry you missed it. Have you checked the vi-pec forum for answers?
  8. Mine says found new hardware "Link G4 Extreme"...lol
  9. the 9.4 was a piece of cake...car was not properly sorted...this time next week will see some real numbers
  10. CA's are an awesome bit of gear...id swap a SR for one in a heartbeat. The Silvia guys are mad for thinking the SR is an upgrade. Dollar for dollar the SR 'upgrade' vs the built CA is a no brainer. Im currently building one for my daughter's S13...great little engine that is not plagued by the weakness'/issues of the SR.
  11. little smear of ARP moly lube works a treat to do the same thing....great thinking outside the square and using some of your nail polish though
  12. Yes it clearly states under his avatar that he has a 32 not a 33...
  13. Having used both Jim Berry single plate and NPC id have to say that both are excellent in high horsepower applications. My current NPC twin plate cops over 1000hp every launch and is nice and quiet unlike the Jap items that have that annoying rattle.
  14. gasket punch kit is what you need.
  15. easier to use the RB30 loom as the 30 uses a single coil and distributor style arrangement and the 20 is a multi coil-on-plug setup. better off fitting an RB25 twin cam than the single cam 30 anyway.
  16. Id feel quite comfortable being 'owned' by your old car Aaron.
  17. I have a Bride Brix II seat for sale...was used for Autosalon display twice and has probably seen an hour of someone sitting in it. $750 Bride passenger rail to suit. $150 both are genuine Bride...not cheap knock offs.
  18. Nitto $1250 AUD delivered anywhere in aust
  19. put in some RB26 resized STD conrods with ARP bolts, an oil pump (nitto), the exhaust guides will probably be flogged out so they will need replacing, some decent valve springs, the usual stuff like cam belt and pulleys etc and if you can afford it a decent harmonic balancer. It will be good for around 500hp at the treads.
  20. Id be wagering you may need more than rings.
