  1. You sir, are a tool!
  2. Depends... with or without VTEC yo?
  3. Ooo has someone just thought of a birthday present? *nudge nudge* Dont look at me!!
  4. This sounds like a great day out!! Very very interested!!
  5. Spot on. Kezza, WHERE ARE YOU!?
  6. lol...
  7. Ahh Speed 2... Yet another crap sequel!
  8. Hell, if i was a terrorist I'd be trying to sink the worlds biggest boat in Sydney harbour! That'd be a major target! I'd rather fun and excitement of Apache's flying around than whats-his-face with the blindingly white teeth flying around in his helicopter telling us that the roads are f*cked!
  9. They wouldnt have had much choice. There isnt many places you can dock a passenger ship that big!
  10. Ahh you legend! Watching that gives me goosebumps - I nearly forgot how good his set was!
  11. The last time he posted was 11th Feb... Hmmmmm...
  12. Cool, I'll ask her and let you know.
  13. I can possibly still get tickets for $80 through a friend.. (They are currently $89 2nd release) Let me know how many and I'll see if I can get that many
  14. My white T-shirt ended up a weird shade of grey, brown, green and pink (a wayward frozen cocktail!).. You've gotta expect it at a dusty festival though. It's a refreshing 'earthy' change for me from a usually sterile or alcohol drenched club! But I've been looking forward to Future Music more so than Good Vibes... JDS ftw!! And I finally get to throw something heavy at TV Rock for doing "Midas Touch"... yay! I've had my hip hop fix for the year.. Snoop @ good vibes!
  15. So just to clarify - you're not expecting the insurance company to pay for the replacement of the FMIC do you? You are just asking whether or not they might deny the claim because there was a modification that they werent notified about? And what area do you live in - it might be best to get a recommendation of a repairer in your area for obvious reasons. BTW - sucks hard to hear about this kind of stuff. I wish you all the best in getting it back on the road!
  16. aww..
  17. Hmm.. Well good to hear that you got it sorted, but i'm a little worried about what you just explained. From the outside to inside, the order goes caliper/piston, shim plate, brake pad, rotor (disc). Theoretically if they're installed properly then the shim plate and the rotor shouldnt come close to touching because there is a chunky pad between them. Anyway, you've got the issue sorted so I guess thats all that matters!
  18. My mate also got video footage of a guy dancing ON TOP of the porta loos outside the Laundry stage...
  19. Hell yeah!! Mobile service was craaap. 1 in every 10 calls would work successfully! Quite annoying. My mate got video of that guy climbing up that roof!! Soo so funny!! I'll try to get my hands on it. It's in ghey nokia format so I'll have to convert it.
  20. Ooo Liz is feeling stabby again! Liz doesnt muck around when to comes to 'cute and cuddly' Maybe a good idea for a sticker, is to put a normal frangipanni sticker down, and then put the "No Smoking" style red circle with the cross over the top!
  21. I would possibly qualify as the last one back! Ditto... Laundry FTW. Ditto.. Beastie boys were too slow in contrast to the upbeat tunes being played all day. Most tracks even sounded slower than on the EP!! Not a smart move when you have 20,000 odd revved up party people wanting to go off. We stood around for the first two songs, and only stayed for the third because we owed it to BBoys to give them a go!! We left pretty shortly after this! Anyone + excess sun is bad. You just need some discipline and apply some sun screen - Something I didnt have myself which resulted in my severe sun burn!! It is possible to shield yourself... Giant sombreros are not only great for total sun protection, but also provide a great storage location for keys, wallets, drinks or possibly a midget friend.... Plus it's proven that chicks dig em! Don't knock the Aussie summer festivals - it's exactly what separates us from the Glastonbury "Gloom & doom" Festival which our Pommy counterparts throw every year, where it rarely gets over 15 degrees and they have to dance around dressed like they have just come off the ski slopes
  22. Have you got the backing plate on the pads? If not, get some OEM nissan backing plates and install them. Often brake places will leave them out as they dont usually come with aftermarket pads. If you do have backing plates already: get some anti brake squealing stuff from repco. Its called "Squeal stop" or something equally as obvious. Just ask at the the counter. It's a red goo that you apply to the back of the pad to stop it vibrating. It's not a commonly known fact - the squealing sound is actually the brake pad 'rattling' at high frequency inside its housing, so adding some packing in there (backing plate) or some shock absorbing material (squeal stopping goo!) will solve your problem. I found that the goo works well for a few months then needs re-application. Best off getting some proper backing in there (oem works fine) to provide some absorption for the annoying squeal! Good luck
  23. I'll be the dude with the shirt and shoes!
