wtf has that got to do with anything? I was never inferring that it was from Australia. It just is a coincidence that washington happens to have the same abbreviation that Western Australia does... It clearly says "WASHINGTON" on the top of the pdf anyway! I was saying that a company that has this sort of order against them (ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD) is to be approached cautiously!!

Yeah well I've been trying to call them today (Left two messages)... There is an american recorded voice on the other end, no-one seems to answer and I havent got a call back all day. They sound seriously dodgey, and I'm doubting that they have an Australian branch at all - its probably diverted to USA offices. Sure, it's related to washington, but a company that has this sort of shit raised against them is bound to be less than completely trustworthy.. Insurance companies arent something you want to take a punt on - especially when it could mean having to pay out for a $100,000 merc that you accidentally wrote off when your insurance company turns out to be a bunch of dodgey pricks from the USA! Im sure you catch my drift! Insure with these guys by all means - just dont start a whining thread when they f*ck up your claim and you lose your car, or you have to pay out for the medical bills of a child you ran over when your insurance company leaves you high & dry!! Im just saying - be careful

My intake plenum gasket has developed a leak. obviously the deteriorated part of the gasket would have been either sucked into the engine, or blown out (if there was positive boost at the time that it went!).. Would a small part of a rubber gasket be enough to do damage to the engine internals? Is there anything wrong with driving the car while effectively there is a small leak in the plenum? I'm thinking a lean situation if it's sucking in more air than is being read by the AFM.

Im coming if I can get my plenum gasket installed on saturday... Add me to the list dammit!

I know, this sux ass... Someone needs to make a second hand semi slick tyre store. Bah.. Its cheap ass yeah, but I dont really want to pay $1500+ for tyres to use ONLY on a track

Did you end up sorting this out? I had a very similar problem, and it's turned out to be a plenum gasket for me. I could actually feel the air rushing out through the giant hole.. I could still get a heap of boost into it though, but it was making a rushing air sound out the side of the plenum when on boost.
