Big ups to Jeff for organising this cruise! Success

I got a 400R front bar for my R33... There are millions of copies of these so obviously they have got them right by now. It was delivered quickly (they had one in stock), and it fit perfectly.. I have heard some bad stories like the ones above though. The best option would be to get them to fit it for you, so they have to deal with the fitting issues. Get them to quote fitting beforehand though obviously.

yeah i agree with the service every 5000k's ... and k's is ultimately not a very accurate measurement.. two cars that have done 50,000k's, can be VERY different in condition.. eg. a skyline with an 18 year old driver, still learning to drive a turbo car is going to be FAR worse condition than a 50 y/o skyline enthusiast who takes care of the car from the time it leaves the dealership! at the end of the day, the only reason you buy a car with less k's is for resale value (unless of course you are one of these low forms of human beings that actually winds odo's back!!). You buy a car mainly on it's condition, not it's km's

If you can articulate what these guys ^^^^ have said, you should either make your dad understand, or blow his mind so much that he doesnt care about the argument any further! Japanese fuel is 102RON VS crappy aussie 91RON.... Skylines were never designed for australia!!! They werent sold locally... So therefore.. you need to give the car an environment it was designed for = Decent fuel! Do it his way, use regular ULP and get him to pay for the new RB26

eek.. the one I have is mounted with a strong, quick release style plastic bracket.. It's definitely not going anywhere in a hurry, but is easily removed. Is this going to be ok or is it STRICTLY a metal bracket?

There is no difference, except there will be more cops, guarunteed radars, more attention... it's just more fun if you dont have to constantly watch your speed and watch your back for cops... I never speed excessively, but double demerits weekends are when they are out there specifically to hit you up for 6 points for doing 16km/h over the speed limit. Fawk that!

what did you end up getting for it?

yeah ive got the momo race in 320mm... I like the smaller size! its more direct on the steering (ie. less distance your hands need to turn to turn the wheel) It blocks a tiny bit of the guages in mine, but it's never given me trouble

yeah unless they dont know that the car had ABS from the start? I have an S2 R33 with drivver/passenger airbag. mine arrived from japan with a momo on it and it passed compliance ok? I doubt any authority would pick up on it ...
