I wish these kinda tools just bought a different car... why Skylines!? This stuff really shits me **Edit - And he's in a White R33 with a 400R Kit no less! Good thing I haven't got chromies and a massive cock on my head, or I might be mistaken for this tool!

So sorry to hear about your loss mate Hopefully it's just been towed and they forgot to call the cops or something, or that it turns up in one piece after a short joy ride! My eyes and ears are open for ya

Does anyone know of a product that is good at removing fuel stains from paint? I've tried a heavy duty cutting agent, but this doesn't seem to be working! I had fuel spill all over the side of my car at the last track day, and it's stained since I didnt have a chance to wash it off before it dried!

Where Is My Abs Unit?
Primordial replied to 75coupe's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
My R33 S2 '96 came with ABS, so it was obviously an option on all GTS-T's (Except maybe 40th Anniv.) -

Where Is My Abs Unit?
Primordial replied to 75coupe's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
You do it all the time? I think you're mis-understanding my definition of 'emergency'... Emergency is not having to brake hard because someone indicated late when turning into a side-street! Anyway, this is a pointless debate. My point is simply that 99.5 out of 100 drivers are much better off WITH ABS. You must be that 0.5 of 100 -

Trying to avoid the kid that just ran out onto the road!! Would you suggest hitting the gas and drifting around him? Thats the whole point of ABS... As I said before - the last thing you should be worrying about when a kid steps out in front of you is brake pressure! I assure you that you'd be better of with ABS in an emergency! Of course... Its a commodore! But this is the point of ABS - to stop the car -! not to provide you with a smooth comforting stop when you mash the brake pedal for 'fun' What's your chances of holding the brake at the exact brake pressure to prevent skid in an emergency? very slim to none IMO Anyway.. I think we are talking about different situations. I agree, general road driving and racing don't require ABS at all, it is even borderline annoying! But i'm talking about the time in a car when somthing happens, the "Woooaahh SH*T!" moments. You haven't got the time to manage your brake pressure in these situations.. 99.5 people out of 100 are going to mash the brake pedal! In which case, ABS is by FAR more beneficial for EVERY CAR. The good far, far outweighs the bad! Back on topic: Removing ABS for weight reasons is pretty weird.. The unit would only weigh 1-2kg max. I would more likely say that they sold it! I bought a 2nd hand ABS unit when mine died. The OEM ones were horrendously expensive from nissan (as most stuff is!), but I picked one up for $80 that works perfectly! Are you sure that ABS was standard on the S2? I have a feeling that it may have still been an option, as in 1996 ABS was still fairly expensive.. Having only 2 brake lines running over the firewall would lead you to believe that it never had ABS from the start, so therefore it would have been optional. -

Interesting... I didnt think it was possible to 'beat' abs considering the high frequency it pulses at. I heard somewhere that a VERY experienced driver can beat the stopping distance in the dry, but when it comes to cornering under brakes it's very difficult to beat. I could be totally wrong though! I know I would prefer to have ABS than not, simply for the fact that in a REAL emergency situation, the last thing you should be worrying about is brake pedal pressure and controlling skid. Best left to the ABS in my opinion. It's always going to have a better chance at stopping you in an emergency situation, especially if you're taken by surprise! In the time it takes you to ease off the brake (losing valuable braking time when skid is reached) and press it again (losing valuable time where non-optimal brake force is used), the ABS would have pulsed 20 times, and maintained traction the whole time! Just my 2c -

Name: Parliament @ Candys Apartment Location: 22 Bayswater Rd Kings X URL: http://www.theparliament.net Open: Fridays from 10PM I think Ideal Time: After 12 Entry Fee: $15 Music: Tech House, Funky House, Breaks Dance Floor: Yes - 2 Seating: Some seats & lounges Pokies: No DJ's: Yep, and some good ones at that! Dress code: Pretty relaxed. Usual street attire is fine Bars: 1 only Parking: Usual city parking Positive Comments: Pretty funky little club. Nice people most of the time. Everyone is there for the same reason - Good music! Nice door staff. They have kooky nights sometimes "eg. wear a funky hat night" which is always a bit of fun.... It's a fairly small club, so you can't lose your girlfriend (or should this be in the negative comments?.. hmm i'll let you decide ) Negative comments: Gets a little hot down there, the air-con isnt that great. And yeah, as I said, it's kinda small. Rating: 8.5/10

Hehe.. yeah I get around a bit! A lot of my mates are part time DJ's & music producers so I cant really get away from it Do a write up of the blue gum! Its open to pubs too. The more the better!

Usually always heaps of people around. Really relaxed place with (usually) very friendly people. Nice place to hang out before or after a big night. Negative comments: Parking can be difficult, but this applies to most of Kings X. Only occasionally has 'danceable' music (of any sort). Rating: 7/10

Name: Kink @ Arthouse Location: Arthouse Hotel, 275 Pitt St Sydney URL: http://www.eyecandyentertainment.com.au/ Open: Sat nite from 9pm Ideal Time: After Midnight Entry Fee: Usually $25 each. Contact them for group bookings which drops it a bit Music: House & Breaks Dance Floor: Yes, 2 rooms Seating: Seats and lounges Pokies: No! DJ's: 2 Rooms... many DJ's over the course of the night Dress code: VERY sctrict. See Comments. Bars: 2 - Beer on tap + premixers... the usual Parking: Usual Saturday night city parking - CRAP! Positive Comments: The eye candy at this club is EXCELLENT. Music is pretty good depending on your taste, as there is often an international DJ playing some commercial stuff. Negative comments: You either have to look like a million dollars (worth of clothing OR plastic surgery), or be able to knock out the door man to get in after 12:00. You need to be dressed well to get into this club!! Also most nights it's 50/50 guys to girls entry after about 11PM, so a bunch of guys alone will not get in. This club is less about the music and more about the 'scene'. If thats what your into, you'll have a great night! Rating: 6.5/10

No stubbies and thongs obviously, but they definitely wont bump you if you arent wearing $600 sunnies and a Tsubi T-Shirt Bars: 2 - Beer on tap + premixers... the usual Parking: Secure parking available nearby, but it usually closes at 3AM. Positive Comments: Suited to a slightly older crowd (20+). Relaxed attitude. Often international DJ's. Awesome local DJ's too. This club is for people who enjoy their breaks music! This place has been my favourite club for years! Negative Comments: Parking can sometimes be difficult. Slightly small. Sometimes crowded. Rating: 9.5/10 --- I've included a dress code in mine, because a LOT of clubs have a dress code (some require collared shirts etc.)
