I filled up full tank wih BP Ultimate and so far after using up one quarter and half Ive got like 180 KM... got another 2.5 quarters left... expecting around 400-450 KMs from the tank...

Can I say that S1 R33 skylines have possibly the worst headlights? lol Not only are they yellowing like no tomorrow... but the fact that the actual head lamps are hidden behind another layer of thick yellow plastic. SII lights all the way!

I think he wasnt prepared to pay more than 18 K for his car... so no turbo in R34.

Looks good, very cheap too... they normally sell these for around 16 grand... Id inspect the car first though... And autos are great... easy to launch and very easy to live with esp in bad traffic. PS good on ya for choosing coupe...

The reason why many people like commodores and falcons is because: 1. They are easy to live with (family car, cheap parts, great for long drives around the country) 2. Have above average performance (a stock V6 Commo/6cyl Falcon beats most non sports cars at the lights) 3. Very easily modified to get low times. 4. Loads of room for big guys like me 6'4+ If you have a look at most HSV/FPV buyers, they are men in their late 20s/early or late 30s and 40s. These guys have the dosh. They also have a big family... The funny thing is if you have ever went to a Holden site like ls1.com.au then youll notice some of those guys own cars such as: SS ute, SS sedan and maybe even a third car as an HSV... its like they stick to their own brand. I like Holdens (been driving a commodore for most of my driving years (18-25 yo)) but I recently decided to get an import... only owned it for 2 weeks now but the Skyline blowed me away... the build quality and go of this car is great... I cant really compare the VS 95 model to this 96 model R33... its maybe fair to say that the VS was an ex Telstra car and wasnt treated with love like this R33 was, but electronically wise the Skyline still outmatches the Commodore. Would I buy another Holden in the future or stick to Skylines/imports? Yes I would but my next car on the cards is a well looked after R34 GTT coupe... however I would not hesitate to buy a newish VX+ Commodore to do everyday shopping in as well as going for a long drive or taking my dog for a drive. PS as others said Skylines are also family cars, just for smaller people and commodores/falcons will always fit guys like in them... ever tried sitting in a silvia or even skyline with a sunroof when ur 6'4? lol

Hey guys, I want to buy some "cheap" xenon light globes as in those immitation xenon light globes for head lights that emit bluish/super white light... I bought some for the commodore ages ago and they looked nice... not that yellow crappy colour. They were around 30 bucks a set. Can someone tell me what kind I need to buy for the R33 GTS-T II? Also one of the fog lamps has a nice white glow to it while the other is crappy yellow... any idea what foggie lamp to buy? Thanks!

The same has been said when VT first came out, after a month everyone fell in love with it and it won COTY awards... I hated VT too, I thought it looked like a typical Jap car lol Now I think they look good.

Sorry to hi jack the thread but my left fog lamp is leaking in water... do i fix it up or replace it?

So you can bring a bucket to wash at their car washes? Cos that would be a good idea to rab it yourself and then use their high pressure nozzles.

Yes exactly my point. If they designed that hose to somehow go aroudn the car I wouldnt freak out everytime it bitch slapped the car. Also the bristles of the brush come off on window edges etc. Many ulehs wash their cars there with mint cars though... hmm.

Where do you guys and girls wash your cars? I got two car washes in my area but I think they leave dints/marks at times if you swing that hose around... I might try and wash the car at home with a bucket. Opinions?
