on my r32 gtr the hicas ecu wont respond to the initialisation unless there are delays between bytes but the engine ecu responds with no delays could be to do with the extra distance to the hicas ecu in the boot or even the different processor used by hicas, my ac ecu also remains silent with no delays but i have only just discovered the need for delays and have not tested for the aircon delays yet. i read that plms have to send initialisation more than once sometimes they are possibly not using delays. my hicas responds to hex ff ff e4 with 10 then i send d1 f0 hicas then streams the error codes FF020000 ff start byte, 02 number of data bytes following, 0000 error code bytes ie no errors when ignition was last turned off

hi danh i have more photos, its my 200mm nitro RC racer tho not a real 34 but it is 4wd 2spd auto makes 1.38hp at 38000 rpm I havnt raced it much since I got my gtr.

hi my r32 gtr came with no heater hoses and my cd workshop manual doesnt show them. I can tell the bottom hose at the heater is the long one but at the motor end does it go to the block inlet or the pipe coming from the thermostat housing thanx

Need to replace my radiator want an aluminium one

hi ppl Replacing the radiator on my r32 gtr Has any one used a aussie made pwr 40mm or 57mm radiator if so did it fit properly and is the quality ok , does the standard shroud fit okay??

hi ppl if i was to use the factory amp for the rear speakers would i connect rca preamp or speaker out from the head unit to the amp inputs??

hi are the tanks on the radiator plastic or cast aluminium and whats the condition of the front side of the core and wasit leaking when on your car ????

Checked the pressure with another pressure guage and compressed air, waste gates opening at 0.6 bar and yes the omoni a pillar guage is reading 0.1 lower( should have realised this cause it sits at -0.1 when the engine is stopped, hmmm) thanks again for zee help

My gtr had an atmo bov, had to plumb it back for compliance since then it backfires on up changes only when the bov opens ie high boost I think when the air decompresses it back flows through the afms causing rich mixture because the afms cant tell the reverse flow from forward.

Hi Ppls Have my R32 gtr for a month and need to id the turbos to set the boost controller i got pics of different turbos from High Performance Imports Mag ANd the RS580 has a 13mmx50mm rectangle cast into the compressor housing same as my turbos No others incl stock or n1 for 32 33 have the rectangle so any one know if this is a good indication they is rs580 the number on the actuator is 430819-212 I found a post with this number on rs580s any one know this is for rs580 only. cant see any other nos with the turbos on zee car. looks sick corners harder(wider track) and bump steers on rough surfaces

ANy one out there know if there are 2 different steering angle sensors for R32 gtr models my sensor zero lines up at 7oclock 2 oclock but my wheel holes are at 12 and 6oclock my car is 89 build and the wheel looks stock . some one must know the answer?? the part that spins on the sensor is white plastic Thanx

i can takem up too the local tyre place too have them unmounted and add whatever it costs too the freight cost I left the tyres on to protect the rims in transit. The cubic weight without tyres is 16kg each cubic weight with tyres is 30kg even tho they actually weigh 21kg with tyres so will probly be worth stripping I will get a freight quote tomoz they are closed now.

I get 0.5bar on an Omoni a pillar guage so i probly should check how accurate it is before i use it to set max boost in case its reading low. thanx again

thanx Duncan got the profecb but dont know if my car has ceramics or n1s so ive been on min boost(0.5bar) im gonna dial up 0.8 thanx mate. will ceramics handle 1 bar without tinkle tinkle down the exhaust pipe

hi ive got sparco 8x17f 9x17r so to get close rolling diameter f 235/45R17 643mm r 255/40R17 636mm 7mm difference offset f32 r38 tein coilovers no bump steer precise steering great in the wet hard ride okay for cruising or short sqirt but wears you out on a long trip. had 18x9.5 22offset all round but was bump steering and engineer wouldnt pass them anywayz i like the way the 17s daily drive had no track work yet.

hi i have braided lines on my r32 gtr that look like they grew there do gtrs have factory braided lines??

thanks Sean im gonna try bleeding it to see if that helps 25 seconds seems more reasonable to me if i can get it to run every 25 ill be happy. I think i located the bleeding connector in the console ( plug with black/yellow wire?) but it is not running the pump when unplugged . my manual says right side of passenger dashboard, this one is in the centre console near the stereo. Any one used the bleeding connector?

My r32 gtr headlights are on they flicker every few seconds all the time even when idling when i hear a click from a relay in the boot on the passenger side at the back. so i disconnected the relay and the 4wd warning light comes on so i figured out its the 4wd pressure unit relay. Is it normal for the pump to run for a second every few seconds does any one know if there is a check valve to hold the pressure no oil drips from the car so its not leaking externally any help on this appreciated.
