  1. Now there's an emotional couple of days =\ Bad luck about the fine (you should fight I say!) Good work on getting some =D I recently parted ways with a long term GF and my Series II GTS25T - Upgraded to a GTR and currently 'upgrading' to a hotter GF Sometimes these kind of things are really blessings in disguise!   2. Update for you: I'm running a 32 GTR AFM at the moment and haven't had any issues so this appears to have solved my problem. I'm sourcing some more today.
  3. Searching is not giving me the answers I'm after =\ Car in question is a 1996 GTR V-Spec - How much oil do the diff's hold - What fluid are people using in their GTR Diff's? Redline 75w90 seems to get mentioned a lot. - What system is the reservoir in the boot providing fluid to? - Do I need a special fluid/oil for the above mentioned system (I assume it's the ATTESSA-ETS system reservoir or something to do with the A-LSD in the V-Spec) - I've heard/read various information stating you shouldn't mix power steering fluids, thoughts? Mine appears to be a touch low. Just got my V-Spec and am going trhough and doing all that lovely maintenance BS =D Thanks guys.
  4. It's unusual that the ECU reports no issues when you're getting this issue. If the ECU is correct then it sounds more like a leak somewhere, it may be wrth having a reputable mechanic look the car over. If possible, test someone elses AFM and possibly CAS as well. Keep at it bud these things get sorted =)

I'd definitely be testing another AFM, there's also a tutorial on here about re-soldering them in the DYI section, it worked for me for a day (on a GTR which are notorious for it) but then came back so I suspect it's shagged. Also try resetting your ECU and have a good hard look for leaks in vacuum hoses. Good luck and let us know how you go.
  8. Hey mate, check my thread on here about a similar issue, I re-soldered my top AFM and it came good then started up again - I assume the AFM is shagged so testing a known working one today. I'll let you know how I go but I suspect your problem is the same as mine. Could you PM me details of this Nissan Datascan setup you have? Cheers
  9. Not yet sorry, standard interior with Pioneer head unit and a leather Nismo Knob is all. Ohh and Genuine GTR Mats FTW!
  10. Cheers mate, was under it tonight, Exhaust is Ganador Titan Cat Back, SARD Hi Flow Cat (has a weird spring loaded join from the CAT to the Cat Back system too) and Nismo Front/Dumps

  13. The vent shape and oncoming air seems more like an intake to me? Look at the shape of the vent.
  14. Yeah that's what I was thinking, coz it sits around there and I know what u'r saying but can't think of another reason to be there. push hot air down and under car?

  16. Yeah that's not bad =D Rev mention removing the rubber strip at the back of the engine bay, wonder how much rain that'd let in and what positive effect it would really have.

  19. Pulled both AFM's tonight, bottom one looked like new, top one had some loose metal in it but the car still displayed those symptoms after being put back together. Trying a known working on tomorrow arvo and will get another one if it proves that my top one is forked. Keep ya's posted Might just sell and get a bloody clubsport or something
  20. I prefer the narrower bonnet/lights on the Series II personally plus the nwer hopefully the better. That's not a bad looking car though - I had those wheels on my Series II =D
  21. Well what a bitch... car started doing it again when I went to get lunch =( Assuming it's either the second AFM or the first one is not soldered well enough, will rip them out again tonight and take a look. I'm sure this is a test of faith =D
