Cheap Desktop Pc's Complete
No Crust Racing replied to No Crust Racing's topic in For Sale (Other Items)
The $250 asking price is essentially for the box as it is, the external peripherals, CRT, and XP are almost worthless on their own. For the box alone (complete, as I don't want to be pulling parts out and mix and matching for everyone) I can knock off $20 (the real saving is in not posting the CRT if you were considering postage) Cheers Dan -

Make:Holden Model:Commodore VY II SS Milage:64,XXX Transmission:M6 Colour:Cosmo (Dark Purple) Location:Albury Wodonga Complied?Yes RWC supplied?Yes, as required Currently registered?Yes Price:27,500 ONO Contact:0429994246 or [email protected] or PM Comments / Modifications:Full exhaust, tinted windows, floor mats, tow pack, 2YR used car warranty. Images:Yes Exhaust includes pacemaker heat coated extractors, twin 2.5" Mandrel bent system with highflow cats, not too loud. Tow pack is 2100KG Hayman Reece hitch receiver, fitted while I owned the car and only towed a 700kg camper once, this is not a flogged out towing car - still has orig clutch in excellent condition - no slipping. Car has full service history with Holden while under new car warranty then with certified mechanic after, to keep the warranty the car must be professionally serviced. All receipts included. 2YR Warranty is a used car warranty and covers most major items, have scans of this at home if required. Selling as we're moving overseas, car only goes to and from work and I'm averaging 11L per hundred K's in it on standard 91octane unleaded. Will consider cheap run about as part payment, would be happy with VR/VS or similar era Ford but if you have something let me know. Car has to go so make me an offer

2k Challenge - Best Bang For Buck
No Crust Racing replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Neither I nor the current owner would be competent playing with a poweFC or SAFC for that matter, for safety he'll definitely pay to have it tuned. Is it really that cheap to get an SAFC tuned? -
2k Challenge - Best Bang For Buck

I should've been more specific about the car. It has splitfire coilpacks already. It has height adjustable Bilstien shocks with whiteline adjustable camber kits - I know coz I installed them when I had the car Already has dished 18's with 265's out back and 235's up front. I sold the car with an Exedy heavy duty clutch, but I don't think it was installed or passed on to this owner so clutch could be an issue. So you guys are not recommending a cheapy highflow? I'd of thought he'd make more power with a highflow and safc than the stock turbo and a powerFC, plus the stocker isn't gonna push more than 12-13 for very long, it's the original turbo on a car that's done close to 90k's mind you it's never been boosted beyond 7 while I had it or my mate after me and from what I know the current owner, another mate, hasn't boosted it either. I was under the impression getting a PFC tuned was in the range of 1k, especially where we are - Albury/Wodonga region - though travel to Melb is not out of the question. That'd eat up the 2k pretty damn quick. Plus I'm not sure if he plans to go further beyond this round of mods. Keep the ideas coming guys and I'll dig up some more info. Cheers -
One of my former R33's has now been sold on to another of my mates and he has plans to up the power a tad. He's budgeting 2K and wants it to be safe. I'm asking you guys coz I haven't had a Turbo car since I sold the GTR a year ago and it's been even longer since I had the Series II R33, RB25DET with manual cog swapper. It currently has the following power wise. Complete turbo back exhaust Pod filter in heat shielded custom airbox Dual boost mode for 7psi standard. My guess was to go something like the following - prices are guesses too. Slidewiz type highflow turbo ~900? Justjap style FMIC kit ~ 400? SAFC + tune ~ 200 + 800ish? Fuel reg/pump? no idea. I know that's more than 2k but I assumed my prices would be wrong or that I was overcompensating parts wise. Max power is not the issue, engine safety and drivability is. I also considered scrapping the FMIC in favour of an R34 GT-T side mount but I was unsure of the max power these could push. PowerFC is out of the question due to costs. My guess for the above was a healthy 200-220rwkw's if fuel mods were also done. Thoughts? Cheers Dan

I've been scouring the Targa site and my local TV guide and I can't seem to confirm if/when they'll do a wrap of it. Anyone? FYI I'm on the VIC/NSW Border. Cheers Dan

Cheers mate, thanks for the feedback. The news articles are aimed at having regular content, I hate sites that rarely update, the idea is aimed more so at learning a bit of auto journalism so my main focus is the road tests and how people find the reading of those. Again, Thanks for the feedback Dan
