Niiiice ASTON! Why the ENZO number plate though? Couldn't afford the real thing?
-
I will be looking forward to the E92 M3 CSL!
-
Sorry for the late reply. Yes the car has been slightly lowered with Bilstein shocks but still using stock springs. Bilstein shocks from SK's groupbuy have built-in adjustable circlips, each with 8mm in between. Mine is at the lowest setting which in theory should be 24mm lower both front and rear. Front 380 mm - 24 mm = 356 mm Rear 370 mm - 24 mm = 346 mm

that will depend on whose reading... "Mr Alonso is not here because he does not want to be here. He does not speak to anyone much. He is a remarkable recluse for a driver. He is not here by choice. Moreover, he said he had other things to do by previous arrangement. I cannot force him to come. We asked him to come." haha I'm starting to like the guy now hope he could keep contain LH the way he did in the last three races.

Heres the measurement as promised. Not sure of the height of the stock bumper but from what I can remember there was only about an inch difference between the two.

The Nissan Skyline-9th Best Sportscar Of Alltime
Forged replied to wizlb's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Forget the koenigsegg, it might hold some lap records and achieved 240mph but has never actually proven itself at Le Mons like the GT40, or any other famous endurance races. I think we are forgetting these: -
The Nissan Skyline-9th Best Sportscar Of Alltime

Everyone has his/her own definitions of a supercar which is all subjective. It however should not be defined solely based on for example; if it has an exclusive bespoke chassis; or whether or not it was a derivative of a common platform. Supercar is an X factor thing. The bedroom poster quote is actually not too far from the truth. I would say its something a bit out of the ordinary with a definite character. Below is a supercar classification list I found interesting. "For me it's a car that takes things to the extreme which can't be seen as sensible. Modern Absolute Supercars (last 20 years): Murcielago, Enzo, F40, F50, XJ220, XJR15, F1, EB110, Veyron, 959, Carrera GT, GT, MC12, Zonda. Past Supercars: Daytona, Miura, GT40, 288GTO, Countach, The Everyday Supercars: Gallardo, 599GTB, 360CS, 575M, 911 Turbo, 911 GT3RS, Z06, Cerbera, F430, Skyline GTR, NSX. Gallardo: It probably would be if it's bigger brother wasn't around. 360CS: It was built to be a track toy, it was derived from a lesser model and the Enzo existed. 575M: It was never supposed to be Ferrari's flagship and, for me, the engine's in the wrong place 996T: Quick as you like but far too practical and far too reliable. Relatively cheap, too. GT3RS: See also: 360CS Z06: It's the everyday supercar but it's not a Supercar. Cerbera: For me it lacks the bloodline (yes, I know I included the Zonda) and they're even cheaper than a 996T. F430: See 360CS. A supercar is something that is pushing the boundaries of the technology of the time, or at least getting very close to the boundaries." -

Hold on a minute there, can you explain why is it the 911 GT3 not a super car? -driven by Walter Röhrl himself. Which is directly related to this "a capacity of 3.8-litres with two 30.3 millimetre air restrictors. With the mandatory air restrictors, the unit delivers 359kW/485bhp at 8,500rpm. Maximum torque increased to 435Nm. Top engine speed is reached at 9,000rpm." -
Thanks Gohan. No CF just fibreglass painted black

That east bear lip is same one as I had previously (see Post #1) Contact Powerplayimports if you want one.
-
If you could afford the east bear gtr kit then its the obvious choice. Perfect fitment plus OEM look, you can't ask for more.
-
I liked the east bear lip spoiler too but it was way too low for a daily driver. The Top Secret bar is actually shorter.
-
Fitment was not perfect but was very good in aftermarket standards. Good mold, everything aligned as they should. I am quite happy with it. From what I can remember it was an inch or so "deeper" than the factory bar. Will get some measurements for you when I get home.

Yes its suprisingly good looking after seeing all the creepy faced cars coming out of Japan lately aka Impreza then again Mazda has alway done well in the looks department.

The new Mazda6 has been revealed in all its glory ahead of its unveiling at next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The new model, once again available in sedan, five-door hatch and wagon bodystyles, brings a new sense of style and design that we predict will lure away customers of more expensive makes. The pictures reveal a dynamically styled model that make rivals like the Toyota Camry and Subaru Legacy look like design school rejects. Mechanically, the new Mazda6 shares much in common with Ford’s Mondeo range but its dimensions are smaller and its kerb weight will likely be less as well. Officials have revealed that one of the key goals in designing the new Mazda6 was to keep weight low. Not surprisingly, the car weighs less than the outgoing version but also offers more interior space and performance. Less weight also leads to correspondingly lower fuel-consumption figures and less carbon-dioxide emissions than the current too. Some of the new features of the Mazda6 include xenon headlights, LED detailing, active cruise control and parking sensors. Inside, there’s dual-zone climate control, an engine starter button, heated seats, voice-activated controls and a Bose stereo system. Though we suspect many of these features will be only available as an option, it’s still impressive to see a carmaker offering such lavish features in one of its mainstream models. We’ll post up a story with all the official goodies once the car makes it debut in Frankfurt but until then enjoy all the stunning pics. www.autoblog.com

Might be just the angle of the shot, it doesn't stick out at all if you look at it in person. Compared to other kits like C West it (the TS bar) actually looks restrained and more factory looking than anything else.
-
If you were refering to the bonnet "lip" or mole as they call it. Its an East Bear item from Powerplay. Retails about $300 don't remember it exactly and they make a slightly different one to suit your Nissan aero kit.

Skyline R34 Gtr Production Numbers.
Forged replied to Forged's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Thanks gtr13, I have updated the first post with your data. Any idea the break down for numbers of each V-spec, V-spec II and M spec models produced? -
G Force, if you end up finding someone to customise a lip like this I'm definitely in for one
-
Nice 4 door mate. Can you pm me details of the bonnet seal? Cheers
-
CF bonnet CHECK :sorcerer: probably could see it better if the you enlarge the last few pics. Not fond of GT wings but I am considering a CF boot plus spoiler delete. Cheers
-
Pics of your R32 Golf? DSG or manual? What have you done to it?
-
That lip is an East bear part from Powerplay. Unfortunately its already been sold to another member of this forum. Most of you would probably have seen photos of his silver GTT
-
Thanks. Got it from GTautostyle http://www.newstylemotorsport.com/index2.php Call the number on their website and ask for Alan. A great guy he will deliver it to you personally if you are in Sydney.
