  1. like your user name mate. quite "controversial" lol hope this doesnt turn into another "spunky" thread.
  2. Relatively small turbo + high compression + direct injection = lag free response, strong mid range and still acceptable top end. Two great examples of such modern turbo engine, the BMW's 3.0 l6 twin turbo and AUDI/VAG 2.0FSIT direct injection turbo l4. Sacrificing power for torque? For a road car torque is obviously more important, torque = drivability. In fact you should consider the other way around, why would you want to sacrifice drivability for a mere extra few kw up the top end?
  3. SUbaru B9. Not the most handsome car but it's nice to drive.
  4. Yep Top Secret. There are a lot of Impul kitted R34s around just try google image, or checkout the photography section of the forum. some nice R34 kits there. Cheers
  5. yep, civil offence. good luck in court mate. definitely no Calsonic for you then.
  6. honestly I don't think those side skirts match the trust front bar at all. I went with Impul side skirts. reckless garage in Japan had a GT-T with Trust front bar, Impul skirts and rear bar when they first came out, looked very neat. I can try to dig up some pics for ya. also more pics of the setup when my car is done.
  7. very nice Tom! are these GTR pumped guards or custom? im tempted my car's nearly finished aswell, we should organise a r34 cruise when yours is done.
  8. thread on sau with heaps more pics and info:http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3203448
  9. the 34 on their website has c-west side skirts but definitely gtr style front bar not c-west. the bottom lip is the only omission there. i dont know anyone who sells those neither. forget carbon fibre tho way too costly. try bodyform or jetspeed, if you got the bar their could probably custom make a similar lip for you. cheers
  10. There was a group buy for this item, not sure if its still on. Try northern beaches performance. they could get these sort of stuff.
  11. Digging the wheels and i like what they've done to the A pillar.
  12. GTR34 front bar will not fit gt-t as it need the wider GTR guards. your mate was wrong. GTR34 bonnet will fit gt-t along with GTR lock assembly and hinges. you do not need the whole GTR front end. Yes I have done it before. Did you end up getting the Top secret bar front GTautostyle? Cheers
  13. There are a lot worse things than speeding fines, defects, unfair legislations or police abusing power. and I assure you this shit is not going to get any worse its just the way it works in this country. It will not get any better neither by telling people "shytes hit the fan....just wait.." youre not helping. why don't you just play by the rules, play it smart and get on with your life.
  14. Correct. Standard Neo injectors are 370cc. I have GTR 600cc injectors on my Neo. You will need, RB26 fuel rail RB25DET Injector Connector RB26DETT Injector Seal & Insulator and GTR resistor pack.
  15. I will bet $10 that Spunky is either related to EVILTD or is EVILTD himself. Nothing against you though, your threads are entertaining to say the least. keep up the good work!
  16. You sounded awfully like the dude who created this VTEC YO
  17. In the UK you could get a special-order lightweight Type R that does without a parcel shelf, audio system and speakers, shaving 40kg off the weight. Don't know if they would charge more or less for such option.
  18. I think a R34 GT-T spoiler would look nice and unique on your R32 :sorcerer: Check out my signature.

    Nissan 350z

Nice shots. The fifth one down is my favorite great composition! Theres a special filter to reduce reflects for close ups, have you tried it?
  20. not sure if its metallic. where do I look up the paint code again?
  21. My Japanese taxi (34GT-T) would eat both of them for breakfast. (Dont quote me I dont know if Skylines were ever used as taxis in Japan)
  22. with XBOX 360 games, I've noticed that Japan and some other Asian countries have NTSC-J while North America has NTSC-C/U. Whats the difference there other than language? Are these different region coding games interchangeable/playable on both console versions? I guess the restrictions are there just for marketing purpose then?
