  1. I did actually enquire about RE050s. Some how the guy at Bob Jane reckons Bridgestone only makes run-flat versions of the RE050, specifically not available in 255/40/17. Maybe he was just trying sell me S-03s I noticed in the link you provided, there are variants of RE050s: RE050A and RE050A Pole Position. Whats the difference between re050 and re050A? I take it the Pole Position version is not for sale in Australia? just like Potenza RE01R?
  2. The power difference between no cat and hiflow cat is not that much if you have a decent hiflow cat. and definitely not worth the risk of a $10,000 fine! I had a 3" cat-bypass pipe made to replace my 3" Metal cat (thats the brand) for testing purpose. It only gained 6rwkw on the dyno and my car was running 250rwkw+ at the time. It would have made even less of a difference for a lesser power car. Knocking Out Cat Guts? Not worth the effort and risk.
  3. I would think the S-03 is a better tyre than the sp sport maxx being the flagship tyre for Bridgestone in Australia? and the best tyre in Dunlop range is the SP9000?
  4. A Jim Berry clutch is what you need. Ive got a single plate R33 GTR type from him, 3800lb clamping pressure (your factory one should have around 1600lb) could handle up to 800hp. Pedal feels very much like stock being a single plate, as opposed to many multi plate clutches or button type.
  5. Drove to Melbourne once, 9 hours straight on hard coilovers and an droning muffler. Resulted in some serious back pain the next day. Not a pleasant experience.
  6. Do a search on GIAC. I'm pretty sure they have an ECU flash for your volvo. or http://www.eurocardriver.com.au/ and http://www.revotechnik.com.au/ Revo and Giac both specialise in ECU tunning for euro cars.
  7. The Launch Video In Bahrain
  8. A quick update: CTR3's new developed body concept showing the latest version of the famous RUF IRC (Integrated Roll Cage). If the car is based on anything, it's the Porsche 997 Turbo. Behind the seats, the car is 100% Ruf. The seats are Ruf's own design and both comfortable and sporty. Interior is a mixture of 997 Turbo and Ruf. Front is based on 997 Turbo, but with many Ruf specials. The roof is 12 cm lower and the windscreen is special. The gearbox can handle 1200 Nm. It's like a 997 Turbo, but with a very powerful mid-engine. The R50 will be 100% Ruf.
  9. Is't a good time to get Bridgestone S-03s? They are due to be replaced soon and are on special at the moment. I've got a quote for 255/40ZR17 94Y $410 a tyre and 225/45ZR17 91Y $305 each both rolling diameter 636mm in terms of price and performance, are there better value alternatives at the moment? cheers

  11. The Top Secret GTR front bar for Gt-t costs $550. The Top Secret G Force bar (in the bottom pic) is around $450.
  12. The Nissan team in JGTC has done this years ago when they were making a prototype engine for the new GTR. Im pretty sure Top Secret has also built a R34 GTR with VQ35DE Twin Turbo, might have been stroked to 3.6l or 3.7l even.
  13. No, because when someone side step the clutch what usually follows is hard abusive driving ie fast gear changes, full revs each gear which means extra load and heat on the engine, turbo, drivetrain & etc. In which case the plastic/ceramic wheeled turbo would usually fail first before anything else. Never as simply as "the shock through the drivetrain causes it to shatter does it?" if one doesn't have anything intelligent or valuable to say in this section, he should keep himself in The Wasteland together with his smart ass comments. LMAO
  14. Like what others have said, 12psi is the absolute maximum for a stock gtt turbo if you want it to last. That would also depend on your driving style, if you side step the clutch on a hot day it would most certainly shatter itself. You could set up your Profec B2 into two boost levels, 12psi on HI for daily driving and 10psi on LO for track days.
  15. I dont see anything in the link that convertes rwkw into engine kw. Btw to say "just plus 30 percent on top of what kw you made at the wheels" is too general. maybe true up to a certain power level. but would result in big discrepancy say for between a car with 100rwkw and a car with 400rwkw.
  16. mate, I have uploaded some pics for ya in the other thread:http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...20&start=20
  17. Guys, I found a company that can supply a replica of the above TS GTR bar to suit GTT. However TOP SECRET also makes a different bar dedicated for R34 GTT as below: or http://www.cardomain.com/ride/387882/2 Which do you reckon would suit my silver GTT better?
  18. Much easier than taking it off.
  19. Finally took the blood thing off. Some minor marks on the paint but nohing too bad you can't buff out.
  20. Yes it does, all original holes align perfectly.
  21. Heres mine
  22. What sort of kit? Would be some kind of supercharger or twin turbo kit? Basic chip and exhaust wont get you much from these already highly tuned V8s, but will give you the supercar sound. Nice flat bottom steering wheel.
  23. SOunds insane! awful back ground music though.
  24. Nice upgrade. Would be slower than your evo9 around the track though. Well who cares this is much more class. Any more pics?
  25. Lets not underestimate this 335i engine either. It is apparently so responsive to mods that many tunners reckon BMW has accidentally created a very capapble engine that would threaten the upcoming M3 V8 as the top choice 3 series engine. Check this out http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31578 45rwkw from a piggyback and a catback, with a better AFR than stock and 11 psi of boost. And this is a Jap tunner.
