I had mine tuned at CRD a little while back at 210rwkw with stock AFM which i was told was "maxed out" along with the injectors. I have now upgraded to larger injectors, new turbo and z32 as these were the main things limiting. Compared with the cost of getting the car to the stage where AFM needs upgrading it seems a relatively cheap item. (think i paid a few hundred from nengun)

I didnt know you could buy the carbon ones, I always wanted CF ones instead of the ordinary looking stock ones. Mine is loose at the moment too, seems the bottom half is just held on with double sided tape and the top is screwed.

Buy a large sticker that you like. Put it over the top

TAXI DRIVERS F*&$@^%$ HATE THEM. In the last 3 days alone Incident 1: Driving along behind a taxi approaching a round about, looked to my right and there was no traffic oncoming so I sped up a little bit. I look in front of me and IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRICKING ROUNDABOUT the taxi stopped, I thought to myself, hmm maybe there is something wrong with his car...possibly? NO! he was stopping in the middle of the round-a-bout letting people OUT of his taxi. I beeped my horn and he shrugged his shoulders as if to say "what is your problem, im not doing anything wrong". To make things worse not 20m past the round-a-bout there were 4 car spaces. Incident 2: Went to drive into my apartment car park. I indicated to turn in and saw a taxi across the whole driveway so i couldnt get in. I gave a friendly toot to make him move on or at least hurry up with no response. So the toots progressively turned into more aggressive beeps, and then into yelling out the window,and then cursing out the window and he just ignored me. After this went on for about 2mins I got out of my car and walked over to his window, the D*&$ was eating his lunch in my driveway and it was only when I tried to pull open his door that he threw his lunch onto the passenger seat and took off up the road. Incident 3: I was driving the work ute down a street with LOTS of speed bumps and i had a taxi RIGHT up my ass because i did not smash over the humps. When I came to a red light the taxi pulled up next to me and tried to race me off the lights to cut me off. They do not have automatic right of way so i accelerated too and when he ran out of road due to parked cars he did not slow down and wait for traffic to pass he reefed his car into my lane JUST missing the back of the ute and pushing a boxter into the oncoming lane. lucky there was no traffic coming the other way. Have I missed something or is there actually an entirely seperate set of road rules for cabbies? <<<END RANT>>>

Been in this car, pulls bloody hard. A quick ride in this is the reason I decided to upgrade mine cos it felt like a slug in comparison.

In the door there is a little rubber boot that gets pressed in when the door is closed, if you take the clip off holding this in there is a little white connection plug. One of these wires is for the beeper, I usually just unplug the little boot when I am working on the car with the keys in (e.g. listening to music with the door open while i work) I want to get mine permanantly disconnected too, drives me nuts. I also want to get the reminder beep for the headlights changed so that it works when the keys are out but the car is still running (so it reminds me when the turbo timer is still on). Otherwise I will just have to remember to turn them off - not hard but I never hear the reminder even if i leave the lights on cos it is always running when I lock the car.

I started to get a bad fuel smell, but I had really poor fuel economy - was running rich, hopefully it goes away with the next tune.

Cheers for that I am not sure if the stock one cant supply enough power, or if it is just shagged, so I think I will upgrade just in case, wont cost that much extra to put a better one on I dont think.
