  9. I dont see the issue steve, if everyone drove to the road rules, no dramas! anyhoo - speaking of pies....robertson pie ship or pie in the sky ? which is better?
  10. Didnt see you there Paul or Charlie! Saw that orange VL - he did his motor. A work mate in his SSS pulsar red lighted his first run, 2nd run smashed his drive shafts.....3rd run dialed in a 13.0 and did a 12.6 or 12.7 so was out.
  11. I'm out here now with work, it's hot and humid but farkin awesome cars!! Saw 2rismo run his first run but not anymore!
  12. Sorry ash, had a few drinks by then ha ha what I meant was I was thinking of buying an ex saloon car for supersprints! I got mixed up with cup and saloon cars! I don't see myself racing door todoor, it's a hobby for me, and sprints are fun!! I'm on same idea as r33 dude as trackdays, but more club supersprints and hill climbs!
  13. Ash, yep thats where Im looking! I had a look at natsoft, and some of the commodore saloon cars - the fastest time at OP was 1.20 and slowest was a 1.26 Not bad considering its still the basic, old buick style 3.8L! Yeah that VN does seem a good buy, ready to race. The only reason Im even considering one of these, would be parts are easy, cheap and common! I would imagine it wouldnt break my budget! but then...it is motorsport I still dont wanna sell my 33 though!
  14. So your looking at doing door to door racing now Ryan?
  15. Oh I see! alloy cage - check - negatory! Ash - have you seen much with the commodore cup cars or the like? As in they go pretty well? lap some good times? Ive really got to stop looking at my105....my fiance's going to kill me soon
  16. Great post Ashly, certainly puts alot of thought into race cars with budgets!! While my skyline is a road car, which has been modified to have fun at supersprints, my next car will be a track car and already built! I like that VH on my105! looks tidy as!
  17. Olympic Park - olympic ave where those blue towers are at night
  18. Damn, if I wasnt at EC the day after it would have been a good weekend down in VIC! doh! Always wanted to race on this track!
  19. I have been thinking about this option for a while, but also the v6's as there are plenty of commodore cup cars out there for sale! But time wise around tracks, unsure of what these v6's commo cup cars do
  20. as in you guys ripped it up on the pan and then told off?
  21. I was fine with my 6 speed in my old car, but then drove a mates with a short shifter and absolutely sucked at it and jumped gears!!! didnt like the short shifter on them!
  22. www.my105.com has some nice cars for sale. I know theres a few race/rally import purchases only....but they can be had pretty cheap, would just need a trailer and a tow car!
  23. LOL My previous car was a VT exec with 6 spd and LS1! I miss it
  24. Smart business strategy actually....
