i agree with tenfour, change the o2 sensor and drive the skyline, they are surprisingly quite good on fuel on long trips. give it a go for a month or so, and if your not happy with it, then sell it. if your car is running good, you should get about 600ks on just over a tank on long distances

mine was doing the same thing as well. used the restrictor plate till i got bigger injectors to let it run higher boost and a tune and the problem went away as well, i put mine in front of the cat. alot more variables to tune with if the ecu's just matched with the turbo. cats, injectors, exhaust , intercooler can all add up and put the tune out. i even bored out my wastegate from i think it was 24 mm to 28mm and didnt make the slightest difference.

has the car been tuned with this turbo?? sometimes either too rich or too lean can cause overboosting (cant remember which one).
