  4. not until you get caught Tim
  5. thats what u do with it. its done on a 33 but, not sure where the 32 one is can run a auto ecu but will run better with the manual one
  6. soda blasting would be better than sand blasting. not sure who does it though
  7. i made my own piping when i had the 600*300 in. made a tight 180 degree elbow from the outlet to a straight piece of pipe just behind the intercooler and made it run up into the factory intercooler holes
  8. if you live in Darwin i wouldn't even bother with the xr6 intercooler and get yourself a 600*300*76 in there otherwise you will loose alot of power with heat soak.
  9. i got one on my r33. pick em up on ebay pretty cheap, try get a typhoon one, they are a bit bigger than the stock xr6 turbo intercooler, will handle up to 300killer wasps. do a search in this forum. a couple of us have fitted them and show pics. im pushing 330rwhp through mine but are no good if you are doing track or constant drag events as they heat soak. for general driving they are great as you don't need to chop the reo in any way to make them fit
  10. have you checked your exhaust , sounds like your cat may have broken up?? 2 1/2" should be enough for a NA
  11. ive claimed with both car insurance and house insurance, excellent service on both

  14. my r33 is showing signs that the wheel bearing are on the way out (never been changed in 15 years). i got a price today from the local mechanic and they quoted me around $370 for the back two and $270 for the fronts, fitted for around $800 all up. anyone know where i can get them for a better price?? Cheers

  16. it wasnt r&r, it just felt like a flat spot then would pick up agin
  17. i run my car with safc2 for years and never hit r&r and i was running up to 280 rwhp and 12-13psi on the stock turbo! i did have the nasty power dip half way up the power curve though.
  18. to me, the car looks to clean on the outside but under bonnet looks messy, i say full respray (especially if dad owns a car yard). also car has too many swapped bits on it. dodgy dodgy dodgy. look at something else
  19. me 2, a very good read
  20. wont go much over 14 psi / 1 bar.
  21. i may have had the rich /lean mixed up. either way. it was causing the boost creep
  22. yes, mine would spike to about 17 psi, even removing my boost controller it would go to 14 psi. as soon as i got the injectors and power fc fitted, i could tune it down to 11 psi no problems, i got a highflow turbo as well. i may be wrong but you have all the same problems i had, i even changed my split dump to a bellmouth but nothing changed, everyone was saying ,check the actuator, check for leaks, but in the end it was the tune, a rich tune will cause extra gasses in the exhaust spooling up your turbo beyond what your wastegate can handle. once it is leaned out and ignition sorted it should go away my saga http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ov...ml&hl=boost
  23. i went through 6 months of all the things you went through Sparky. its not your turbo setup, i ported my wastegate hole up a extra 4mm and still did the same thing. u need a better computer and sort out the tune.
  24. mine had the same. was using a restrictor plate till i got some bigger injectors and then took out the plate and let it go to 15 psi safely. also tune has a bit to do with it. i think it was running to rich and getting high exhaust gas flow. as i said, put bigger injectors in and a proper computer and it will go away. mine did
  25. probably better to post in this section http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/RB...sions-f184.html
