  1. looks like the fpr is passing
  2. got the fuel economy down to 13.8l/100 without the tune highway/city driving. o2 sensors are working perfectly (pfc sensor check screen). was hoping for a tune by now but other things have come up so it keeps getting put off. knocked up a catch can at work and that is now fitted so hopefully no more oil on the afm's.
  3. gotta love 18 by 10's, looks like a sweet ride there white
  4. Pal

    M'mates Place

definitely a go for me now
  5. i use the woolies 98, pull out my woolies card and get 8c off the advertised price
  6. lived there for 4 years. left in 1979. dont think its changed much though
  7. thats all i did when i put a turbo on. just keep a eye on the oil pressure gauge and it will slightly go up as well, then plug it all back in and start the car
  8. also could try and pinch the fuel return line and if rail pressure increases, then your fpr is stuffed. fuel filter is on the intake line. no good filtering fuel thats already gone through the system
  9. looking good snozz
  10. auto computer is located behind the passengers kick panel, controls motor and transmission.
  11. I had this happen on my gtst every 6 months. just got under the car, removed the pin between the fork and slave cylinder, pulled the rubber cover off and pushed a bit of grease onto the ball on the end of a screwdriver. fixed it for another 6 months
  12. s1 have a igniter pack (square box on top of the coil pack cover with two plugs on it) at the back of the motor to fire the coils. s2 have inbuilt ingiters in the coils therefor no igniter pack. they are not compatible with each other
  13. how many km's has the car done and how hard do you drive it? the water pump probably hasn't been replaced ever and has seized hard at redline causing it to destroy itself. pull all the damaged stuff off, check your water gallery for damage. check your threads in the holes that the water pump bolts into for damage.
  14. OFMG ! no one can be this stupid, or can they?
  15. sounds like you got a vacuum leak somewhere. your plumbing looks ok. go back through all your pipework and check the clamps
  16. I got the o2 sensors for $77each, Gtr sensors are alot harder to get at than the gtst so it was easier to get the correct tool for the job quote name='ahh 33 s2' timestamp='1295654225' post='5636783'] if u bought o2 that are RB25 compatible, couldnt u just get the ford EF o2 sensor from repco, as it mentions in the general maintainence section that that is compatable with the RB25, i did that and im sure it was under $100 for it, plus some connectors, and no special tool required, a bit late now, but might help someone else that is looking thru this thread
  17. ok, read whole 40 pages and found this the 02 sensor as its a RB26 PFC will expect R32/R33 GTR style sensor as you have GTST it wont work correctly youll either need to run without 02 feedback completely or change your 02 sensor to the GTR style 02 sensor if you go for NGK BNR32 style 02 sensor you can set "02 registered" in function select to run in BNR32 mode otherwise get a GTR33 sensor and leave 02 reg off but have 02 feedback on and it should be ok as long as you have the same GTR33 sensor you can splice up the output from the 02 sensor and run it into both 02 sensor inputs on the RB26 loom to the PFC so both 02-1 and 02-2 have the same value answer found
  18. its a bit more than strapping a turbo in. you have to look at all the ancillary equipment that goes with it. i think you will be struggling with 5k. i spent about 8k to on mods to get 250rwkw over 6 years, yes it was fun but then sold the car for 10k. dont think i would have changed a thing though.
  19. a falcon is a falcon. gt is a stock falcon with a few upgraded parts. a gtst is nothing like a gtr mechanicaly, different motor, different suspension, different drivetrain. didnt mind the maroon car in hpi but i shook my head when i saw the gtr badge.
  20. hey guys, I have just been going through my pfc screens trying to find out whats going on with my o2 sensors and found out they were turned off. I replaced the sensors and turned it back on but there is another setting (02 sensor reg). Does this need to be turned on as well. I have had a look through pfc manual and looks like it may be for the bncr32 and needs to be turned off, but not sure. The car is a r33 gtr
  21. just went through my pfc screens and it turns out the o2 f/b control was turned off. there is another one, 02 sensor reg. does this need to be turned on too? must be a gtr thing cause i cant find it in any manuals
  22. can u just fast the vin then please
  23. just give it a rev to 2500. 02-1 sits on .9 to 1 v. o2-1 sits on .08 to .09. checked the wiring, long plug goes to back, square plug goes to front (can someone confirm this please) wires are in correct positions(same color wires go to heaters and same to signal wire across to plugs) where do i see the fuel trims?? had a look in the screen for o2's and couldnt see them there
  24. BCNR33022977 wouldn't mind seeing if there is anything on the option screen too thanks
  25. afm's are ok, it was the o2 sensors that were running at different voltages
