interested to know what exactly "breaks"

what year TT are you aiming for Neil? i was originally aiming for 2012, but now thinking its more realistic in 2013 it really depends what happens at work at the begining of next year. how far are you going with the stipping? all the aircon and fans and heater? or will you be leaving some of that stuff. I'm still undecided, as a few of those items can be really helpful in those raining/foggy situations.

lol so true. im not sure if you New South Welshmen have heard but Anna Bligh decided to sell off half of Queensland Railway, which alot of people dont appear to be happy about.

Rebuilding R200 Diff
skylinegtts replied to Proximity Motorsport's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
i believe theyre different shims, theyre shims for the viscous centre. Not the shims for the centre and pinion alignment, i could be wrong though. -
brad what die set bender would you recommend? for starting height, i would have thought standard ride height would be better than anything, assuming nothing has been drastically changed initially.

can you let us know on the shim part numbers and prices? it'll be good to know when i get around to it. -
fair call for the surface finish of the head, but that comes into air/fuel interaction. for the intercooler piping, i thought the idea is to get the air to the head as quick as you can. back on topic, whens the planned first outing for this thing?
-
mate, your example doesnt work, you are comparing fluid flow to a particle in fluid. you cant compare apples with oranges.

check out the r32 gtr workshop manual, should be pretty much the same procedure for the rear diffs. and it will give you a step-by-step guide -
as far as i know there is no limit at QR. but lakeside are pretty strict and do enforce the noise limits from what i have seen.
