can anyone tell me how to convert the amount of flashes to the fault ?? it doesnt tell you how on the first page !!

ok so found another problem with my hicas.. i went to do a parallel reverse park and as i locked the steering right and left it felt tight and as i got the car moving the hicas light came on and the front torque meter put power to the front wheels. if im stopped and lock the steering full right(or left) it doesnt seem to go full lock until i get the car rolling abit and the bloody hicas light comes on and so does front torque what the hell is it !! is there some sort of solenoid that could be faulty? cos even when im at idle at lights the hicas light will still flash on and off, even though the car isnt moving.....the hicas light still flashes on and off when the attesa pump come on (soon as the attesa pump primes, the hicas light comes on, when it finishes which is only like 1.5seconds, the hicas light goes off) any ideas?????????????

what year model gtr did this come out of? as i might need one to change my speed sensor !

my light used to come on after about 10mins of driving and stay on, steering didnt realy get heavy now the light flashes on and off every 5 or so mins, everytime the light goes on (usualy for 2 seconds) the steering gets heavy, soon as the light goes off steering goes back to norm hecticGTR: yeh bro let us no how u go, if it fixed the problem im locking mine out aswell thanks

im after a pair of r32 gtr N1 front bar vents/nostrils, they are the 2 vents that are next to the front number plate... after a pair in good nick, in gunmetal grey pm me please ! thankyou

anyone know if this will work on an r32 gtr? and where is the fuse on the r32 gtr? i want to give this ago...sick of hicas light poping up...friggin shiet !!

thanks mate ! i bought it with a nardi steering wheel, so i didnt touch it....i dont think it has a boss kit? arnt boss kits so you can remove ur steering wheel? the steering wheel is not removable its bolted on i will sus it out anywayz, make sure everything is cleaned up can you align the discs on the angle sensor? are they markings on the discs that i should take note of?

hi ive got my bloody hicas light coming on after about 10 or so mins of driving on my R32 GTR it has an aftermarket steering wheel, and the diagnosic test said this is the problem.. my question is how do i get to the steering angle sensor ? i know its behind the steering wheel but what does it look like? anybody have photos or a step by step guide on how get to it? also when i do get to it, what needs to be done to it, what do i clean? align ? etc sorry about all the questions but its driving my crazy !! thanks

u sure the gtr is a series 3? does it hav the red stitch interior? xenon lights? if not its a series 2, sounds like a fair price...get it compression tested ! cant go wrong with a GTR, be patient and buy the right one, dont rush things like this

when the engine is bone cold, and you give the fan a spin with ur finger, how loosly should it be ? when i give mine a spin with my finger, it will turn about 90degrees from the top of the radiator, i thought they should atleast turn more then half way with a push ! mine has issues of coming on after 10 - 15mins of driving, robs u of power and sounds like a cyclone under ur bonnet when u rev it

also be careful as some of the cheaper ones actualy have the Advance and Retard markings the wrong way around !!

is it worth putting better bolts inplace of the standard bolts the cheap ones come with? maybe some stainless bolts with spring washers ?

hey guys ive noticed that my clutch fan in my GTR may be stuffed? when i drive the car for around 15 or so minutes, i can hear the fan blowing alot of air, more noticable during acceleration of coarse...seems to be putting alot of drag on the engine and doesnt rev as "easy" compared to when the fan isnt engaged. when the car was bone cold, i tried to spin the fan by hand, i put my finger on the very top of the fan and gave it a spin to see how far it will rotate, prob went about 90degrees, maybe even less, seems to be very tight and doesnt spin freely... is it time for a new clutch fan? should they be more "loose" and spin more freely? when should they 'engage'? operating temp is normal, and engine temp doesnt go beyond 85degrees.... thanks

sorry ment to be: does 4 quick flashes, 5th flash stays on for 5 seconds....whats the problem ?

ok just re did the test so i can take further readings does 4 quick flashes, 5th flash stays on for 6 seconds....any info on what it is ??

i did the test on my r32 gtr and i got 4 quick short pulses followed by the hicas light staing on for afew seconds... then after that i kept my car on and still in the diagnostic mode, and it did 4 quick pulses followed by the hicas light staying on for a few seconds what did it pick up as been the fault ?? the hicas is giving me the shits i need to sort this out ASAP !!! hope someone can help me ! thanks

ok also seems to do it when i reverse ? :S steering sometimes goes alil stiff for a few seconds then goes good, also kicks up abit of torque to the front wheels when reversing with abit of clutch in and out (not enought to make the bak wheels spin, so it shouldnt send power to the front wheels) anyone able to help me out lol? im gona giv the hicas diagnosics test a go and see what i come up with...
