  1. if you buy a solid center twin plate clutch, can you make it sprung center without the clutch been rebuilt? is it easy to convert it? thanks
  2. the time has come to upgrade my clutch, i have future plans to run 300kw atw so im gona go down the twin plate route... just wondering if theres a noticable difference between a sprung center and solid center? car is mainly used on weekends...so not a daily driver. would a sprung center be easyier to "engage" and be overall better ? ive come across both clutches, so just need afew opinions on which is the better.
  3. just a quick question.. would you rather have x-force split dumps or r34 gtr dumps with N1 turbos ? ive come across both and wondering which i should get for future upgrades...
  4. also forgot to say it only happens when you rev out 1st gear, other gears seem ok my boost control solenoid is mounted under the air filters, so the hoses going to the wastegates are pretty short ! as long as that 1psi of peak isnt doin any harm im fine with it hehe
  5. old thread i know but saves me starting a new one ive got a profec b spec 2 installed, ive got it running 13.2 (ish)psi on high boost, holds it steady no problems, but when i flick through the menu and get to PEAK BOOST it shows around 14.2 (ish)psi i never actualy see this 14psi on the screan, why is this? also is it ok to spike 1psi ? obviously no spike would be better, but can this do any harm? hopefuly get some good answers, its been worrying me abit :S cheers

  10. i want to take off my rear bumper bar on my r32 gtr, i had alook around inside the boot and underneath and cant seem to find the appropriate bolts/clips to get the damn thing off ! if someone can tell me how to remove it and where the screws are etc that would be great ! or if u have pics that would be ace ! thanks

  12. when i was looking at r32 gtrs begining of the year, i had this white one idling, i opened the oil filler cap on the engine, it was "choofing" masses of white misty air, it was pretty high pressured too the smoke was almost going up to the bonnet ! what does this exactly mean? i always thought it was blow by/ alot of blow by, so im assuming worn rings? low compression ?
  13. i fitted nismo s-tune coilovers (damper adjustable not height adjustable) and the rear is sitting lower then my fronts aswell...
  14. just read on previous posts that the hicas light will go on if the brake fluid is low on R32's ? i just realised mine is disconnected ?! where does it go, cant seem to find the place to plug it into !! so the connector is just hanging there ? i think the brake fluid container has recently been changed, maybe for compliance? what to do hmmmm
  15. ok this might sound stoopid but...How do you align the steering wheel angle sensor ?? can u take it a place that will align the sensor/steering wheel ?? need help on this asap
  16. i also removed mine and didnt make more then standard, and thats with aftermarket front pipes, hi flow cat and 3.5" cat back zorst just fitted a profec b spec 2 and all is perfect at 13.5psi

  19. ok i dropped the glove box down today, made a hole directly behind where the bubble is, filler it up with contact cement, worked it etc etc... result ? looks worse then when i started ! didnt sem to stick evenly and the middle part is sticking up like a ballon...seriosuly looks like ass
  20. do you have the N1 bonnet lip ? its the add on piece that sits on the bonnets front edge between the 2 headlights, in good nick ? also after the N1 front bar vents that are next to the number plate let me know, thanks

  23. im loving my fuel economy ! it got aftermarket front pipes, hi flow cat and cat bak zorst, M's pod filters and profec b running 13psi, alwaysmanage to get between 440 - 480kms per tank, city driving ! with a hit here and there... my mates got an r33 gtst series 2, he got terribal fuel economy, were talking 280 - 300kms per tank, we changed his 02 sensor, cleaned his afm, did a pressure test...now his getting close to 400kms...prob more if he changes his driving style lol
