  1. Triple 044's into a 3 into 2 splitter, twin entry -8 into the rail.
  2. Thanks mate, hmmm not convinced yet, I will give you an answer when I'm done with this one. 6766 will go back on next with a slightly bigger housing to see what they can do. Thanks Darren! Yes track was killer but suspension still far from ideal, 1.40 60 on the 8.9! Cheers John, 44psi, no idea on power. Given that it made 636kW at the wheels on 42psi, I would say in the 650kW region.
  3. They are certainly capable of pushing beyond their power rating, but I've seen some figures floating around with way too much GST on them. If they aren't done on an engine dyno or backed up on a track, they are just that...numbers.
  4. It's an R34 box with PPG straight cut and Tomei gear knob. The most Jap Commo you'll ever meet.
  5. Here's an update for the RB26 VN at the track. Still a bit off its potential on this power (910hp at the wheels on 25 psi), but it's getting there! Weighs 3315lb with driver, has steel, glass and a heavy interior. I'm sure you'll enjoy the sound.
  6. The mid frames hardly make any noise, when you're cruising they make a multi-pitched noise though, you can notice it at night. The larger frames like my 7175 "almost" sounds like a T51R.
  7. I think they feel perfectly stable on the road (in the dry anyway), in the wet they are terrible. I run 14psi in them on the street and track (cold) went a best of 1.28 60ft on the 255/50/16's. Best drag radial I've ever tried hands down.
  8. Hey dude, a search will reveal what people think of them on here. Been covered a few times
  9. Here are some more results from this Saturday on the dyno. We were aiming for 35psi on the next hit, unfortunately the idle speed control screw of all things decided to unwind itself. It was already 9pm when we sorted it out so had to cut it short, but I am very confident in saying that we would have seen 1150whp. Pretty amazing how linear the power curve is since it is making drag engine power. Rev limit is set to 9500rpm.
  10. From my experience with my own engine, a certain boost pressure = very similar power level provided the turbo is still within its capabilities. When a turbo start to roll over of course the power gains decrease per psi. As you'd know pump fuel and 900hp are a mismatch (on a small engine anyway), as you will never be able to put the boost in that is required to get it in the zone. I would certainly place my bets in saying that a 6466 will outspool a T51 donkey (sorry to all my friends who I have offended in saying that ) The test that Sound performance is a good example how different the 3 Precisions react even though they have identical exhaust wheels.
  11. People have their own theories, I'm going off what Jim Berry uses here and I think in my case it's on par.
  12. The results given ethanol content doesn't completely shock me, the fact that they were still doing something at that boost level does. I'm going back to a 6766 later in the year, mine made 853hp atw on 42psi. Going off a 15% drivetrain loss that is 980hp at the engine, I can't see it making too much more power than that on my setup...might have to try again
  13. Great read, thanks for posting. Amazing that they are flowing that much with that housing at high rpm too.
  14. Bryce, I know from experience that the 6262 and GT35 are very, very similar in response. There is a back to back comparison from the US here: http://forums.nicoclub.com/highest-horsepower-rb25-stateside-t477938-40.html Note the 6262 was running a larger housing (Tial) I don't the Tial v-band housings do anything extraordinary at all... Also, PTE make a .84 T4 divided housing only. Cheers, PJ
  15. JB's have been the problem over the years, I'm with you on this one Darren! How many Precision's have you tried Scott?
  16. Thanks, Johnny, always keen to wick it up for the fans
  17. I thought about a turbo V8, but realistically it would throw the handling out and I want to do some track days so going to stick with what I know, if it sells.
  18. Hahaha I laughed pretty hard when I read that! Pretty deep! Allan, the 6466 on your 26 will be fine and will comfortably make the power
  19. I have decided to throw the ENGINE SETUP up for sale and let it go with the right offer. $28,000, or $25,000 no turbocharger (still includes manifold, gates etc) This was built as a no expense spared project with only the best bits money can buy, making it a reliable combo on huge power that you can around town, circuit or drag. 600-1000hp SR20VET street/race engine depending on boost level. Obviously there is a lot more to making a reliable setup like this than meets the eye, and the purchaser will get a detailed spec list. The price is not negotiable, this is a $50k + setup in any workshop who doesn’t have anything to back it up! If you think you can build one cheaper, GOOD LUCK!!!! Not many cars are this powerful, practical and bulletproof! PM or call if you’re serious and have money good to go.
  20. Yes mate, I still have it after all these years
