  1. Yea sides r def Bomex. Anyone know if u can still get those East Bear diffusers? They look like a bolt on bit to the std rear bar. n15mo nice find on those Jap sites.
  2. U will only need to re-gap to 0.7 or 0.8 if ur running higher than std boost. R u running a aftermarket ECU or boost ctrl? Also becareful when re-gapping Iridiums, the tips r thin n can snap. I personally just run the NGK std plugs gapped to 0.7, only advantage of a Iridium is it'll last longer.
  3. That rear bar(on the silver 34) is not a Bomex i dont think. Bomex rear bar has 4 fins. That rear bar looks like a stock 34 bar with some bolt on bits on the side. Looks good tho, havent seen it round b4.
  4. Hey URAS, im interested in the Top Secret bottom bonnet lip as well if u can get em. Please pm me with anymore details if u have any, pics, material, will it fit directly to the replica Top Secret GTR bar (for a Gt-t) as mentioned by Forged? Also looking for any matching side skirts & rear bar for above Top Secret front bar. Anyone got ideas, pics to throw at me? Cheers.
  5. Yea thats ok if u got a flat dash, on the Gt-t, its curves & slopes everywhere, u'd be struggling to keep the Commander upright just with velcro. Anyone else got ideas on how to hold the Commander unit?
  6. ^^Thats da bomb..... Anyone else got ideas how they hold the Power FC Commander unit? Im currently using a mobile phone holder, hooks onto the air cond vent on drivers right side but am not very happy with it. It doesn't hook onto the vent properly. Cars a 34 Gt-t btw.
  7. Did u take into consideration the volume of the sub itself? Reverse mounting in the same box would change the enclosure volume even though its not alot ie. maybe 1-1.5 cu ft difference for hte 2x12". Did u also reverse the polarity of the subs when reverse mounted? Interesting experiment though, i would have like to have personally hear the difference.
  8. Im after that replica Top Secret GTR front bar for a Gt-t but ive had no luck chasing down a supplier so far. Could u please, please pm me the details of the company that supplies it? Also any idea how much either of the kits u posted r?
  9. Agree with ^^ Have u been to the pits lately n seen the queues? There was even a review on it on A Current Affair. Everyone that i know that has been pass the pits last couple of mths was there for the day. Queing up from 6am on until 3-4pm. And if u happen to be one that was in line all day but not get ur chance for inspection b4 they close, ull have to come back another day. I dont know bout u but having to take a day off just for that would cost me more in wages. My biggest fear is having to go past THE PITS......
  10. Covered b4, search button is your friend. Well coz im nice here's the direct link. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=16255
  11. Pm sent yest regarding kick panels, still awaiting reply. Cheers.
  12. If u've got $3k worth of suspension, they r probably coilovers, wind them up then....
  13. The Power FC will be ur next best mod and its sumthing u'll need for a hi-flow, can be hard to find these days but guess wot, just saw one for sale by Slide in the Traders section, be quick.....
  14. Im running same as above NGK copper but with the V gap, V-power i think its called, dont have mod no. think its BKR-6xx sumthing or rather. Basically same as BCPR6ES but with the V tip, dont think it cost anymore either. Do a search u'll find it for sure. IMO Iridiums arent worth the $, only advantage they have over copper is life so u wont have to change them as often, dont think ull feel any difference in power. The NGK Coppers r cheap n very good, just MAKE SURE u gap them down to 0.8 or 0.7 for 200rwkw.
  15. Mine's a 2000 Series 2, all as mentioned above cept mine's got a rear wiper. I thought they all have rear wipers.
  16. Yea i find the same, water streaks with the wax which is why i squeeze the pad to get rid of excess fluid/water. Maybe it is the leftover water from the wash like u guys mentioned coz it is hard to get rid of the water in some areas. R32woohoo - Tech wax is also the wettest wax ive used, most others have a creamier consistency.
  17. Hey gtt23, is that the Top Secret(copy) front bar with Bomex sides n rears that u got? Any more shots from different angles? Ive been looking for the Top Secret front bar but none has comes close to looking like the real Top Secret one. The copy that ive seen around doesn't quite look right. Where did urs come from?
  18. Yeah but do u find that after waxing say half a car or so that the applicator sponge is wet? Like i can squeeze my spoonge n water would dribble out, i just find that odd since its a wax, a product thats sppose to repel water. Its almost seems like water is actually been added to the Tech Wax, bizarre!!
  19. Nope brand new, well 3mths old. Unless its been sitting in the Super Cheap Autos shelf for an extremely long period of time. Ive noticed this the last 3 times ive used it from new. I think if u leave it sitting for awhile then pour some out without shaking first, u'll also notice a light film of water/clear that comes out of the bottle first.
  20. Ive noticed sumthing a bit strange with my Meguire's Nxt Gen Tech Wax. I find that after waxing about half a car or so, the applicator pad/sponge becomes quite wet, i could squeeze it n water would dribble out, not wax but clearish dribbles of water. Has anyone else who uses Meguires found the same thing? I didnt think that water would be an additive to a waxing product, its suppose to repel water if anything. How is this possible?
  21. Why would u need a distro for the ground? Just find a good secure grounding point on the chassis/body, sandpaper off the paint in the area if any. Would be better if u grounded at different points for each amp but shouldn't pose a problem if u cant.
  22. How bout brakes & suspension? I'd consider an upgrade in those areas for that sorta power, pointless having that sorta power if u cant stop the thing or control it thru a corner. A driving course down ur local track would also be a worhwhile investment.
  23. Damn... u got me. I use to own a Jeep, didnt think it would work...
  24. Thanks frank, the Impul is not really my taste. I like the massive hole for the FMIC that the Top Secret bar has & simple hole/slot at the sides for cold air intake. Cheers anyway.
