Power Fc And R34 Gtr Tail Light
G_Force replied to SUGO's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
More details on tail light cover please, pics would be handy. Please pm me for quicker response. Cheers -
Sumone else made a suggestion, get a front bar that is similar to wot u want n get a frp place to modify it to look like a Top Secret bar. Anyone done this before and got a rough clue how expensive it is for custom front bars?
-
-
So no one out there has made a copy of this Top Secret front Bar for a 34 Gt-t?
-
Check out Sydneykids Group Buy. Lowered springs with incorrect shocks can cause problems, alot have said that the kit is best bang for buck around.
-
DOH!! Ive seen a similarish front bar on Gt-t's, not quite as big in the FMIC area and has slightly different sides. So no one out there has made a Top Secret copy for a Gt-t?
-
Anyone know if & where i can get this front bar for a 34 Gt-t? Im pretty sure its a Top Secret bar. Also looking for sides & rear bars to suit, doesn't have to be Top Secret as long as the lines go together. All suggestions with pics welcome.
-
Which rear bar is that? Looks like a Bomex front & sides but rear defers slightly from Bomex rear bar, the lines r different down the rear sides. Anyone know if n where i can get this top secret front bar for a Gt-t? Its sic.

Between the 2 i'd go with X-Speed, get Ant there to tune it, speak to anyone in WA who's into performance tuning n Ant will be mentioned sumwhere. How much did either place quote u for the tune? Expect round 195rwkw, dont be afraid to lean it out to extract more power & economy but watch the knocks. Noticed ur in Vic Pk, wonder if ive seen u round...

The which exhaust question gets asked almost on a weekly basis. A search b4 post answers most of ur queries. Get a turboback woteva u can afford to. Here's a post from last week http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=159310 So if $950 is ur budget get the X-Force turboback or buy a split dump, hi-flow cat & used catback, hav a look in For Sale section. Oval mufflers will give u a lesser flow but less noise/drone, round mufflers will give a better flow at the cost of more noise.

Need A Quiet Exhaust - Copped A Epa!
G_Force replied to FULOCK's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
How did the EPA know ur over the limit? Did u get a licky and a noise test done at the pits? Which state is this happening in? As for ur fix, i'd say replace the Blitz muffler with an oval type one, shame tho coz it'll just restrict flow once again. -
Yeah round 200rwkw or just short. 12psi is safe, stock 34 turbo runs out of efficiency after that anyway, risk of shattering that ceramic wheel exponentially increases after that. 12psi constantly?? Unless ur planning on having ur foot flat to the floor at all times.

Thanks, sent u a pm

I came to a similar crossroad when choosing an exhaust. Btw. there r plenty of exhaust threads when u do a search, i know i came up with more than i can poke a stick at bout 9mths ago. Couple of things, the prices from Nengun, be sure that they include taxes coz i dont think they do. From memory Blitz NUR was round AU$990 + delivery. Secondly i would have to say the decision in the end is pretty much just about the sound/note, an exhaust is an exhaust, they r just pipes. Diffecrence is minimal, probly only in the mufflers, welding n finish. If i had to buy one new i'd get an X-Force, great value for $, looks n sounds ok, plenty of ppl on here use em n $ u save there can go towards other mods that im sure ull want to make But if ur not fussed on used gear u can pick up used exhaust here for a good price, i was gonna go with X-Force for my 34 until i saw a used Blitz for less so i got that instead, sent across the country no probs. Great flow, bit drony at certain revs. But out of the 2 u mentioned, i would say that the Blitz would hav a better flow but noisier, HKS would be less drony(bigger mufflers) but not as good a flow. Ur choice...

Looks like a Nismo carbon front lip off a GTR, not sure if its a factory option or aftermarket.

Wot is ur budget? No point throwing names out there if u cant afford them. Go to a good car audio store n have a demo of wots there. Everyone's ears different, sumone may vote for Focal whereas i think they r bit rich on their highs n can be fatiuging over time tho they r very good speakers. But if u must, my votes for Morels & Bostons for SQ. I would have Rainbow on that list but i like most wont be able to afford their stuff. If ur after SPL, maybe DD. These r just a few out of the hundreds of brands out there.

Ok. So has anyone actually had a DMD Do Luck front bar fitted to their 34? I'd like to kno if u can use the factory bonnet with it or would the longer GTR bonnet be required. Also would u need a huge FMIC to fill that big hole in the centre or would any FMIC do the job? Im running a Hybrid GT kit. It also looks like the FMIC pipes goes thru the front bar meaning a hole would have to be cut to fit so would this be a mod thats to be taken into cosideration. Thanks to anyone that can help.
-
Anyone know how well the DMD front bars fit? Any mods required? Im interested in the Do-Luck lookalike. Also afta a rough idea of cost for painting a whole kit if anyone can help. Cheers.

Thanks ppls...... Can always rely on u for a quicky...
-
Just a quicky, can anyone tell me if the RB25DET turbo(R33) will fit onto a RB25NEO(R34)? Straight bolt-on? Was gonna do a search but in a hurry. Thanks guys.

Mate, would u care to explain?? U told me u wanted my SMIC, accepted the offer asked for my address as u wanted to come pick it up over the weekend & havent contacted me, now ur telling somebody else ur interested in their SMIC. Unless u have got some unkown reason for buying more than one SMIC.....
-
Location? Ive got one in really good nick but was gonna keep it just in case i need to pass the pits. My mate may have one sitting round tho. Pm me if interested, would prefer to deal locally.
-
yes. If ur on a tight budget, forget the rear fill's, spend the money u save there on a good set of front splits, amp them if u can for good mids n highs. Ur already running a sub thru an amp so thats the lows taken care of. Dont forget sound deadening, well worth it if u can afford it. If ur on a tight budget, just sound deaden as much of the doors as u can afford, then move on to the boot if ur budget allows.

Bump.. Which grounding areas should i be looking at upgrading besides -ve terminal to chassis & -ve to block? Alt?? Someone mentioned to me that u can use a busbar like one below. Doesn't look to presentable tho.
-
Which is why im asking if xtra grounding points will help. Btw person who told me he had problems with grounding wasn't running big @ss power hungry amps, stereo looked stock, car had 300rwkw not that this affects the current draw much. Anyway which grounding areas should i be looking at upgrading besides -ve terminal to chassis & -ve to block? Someone mentioned to me that u can use a busbar like one below. Doesn't look to presentable tho.
