  1. ... that reminds you of japanese and european GT cars from the 1970's. testament to australia's finger on the pulse when it comes to design.
  2. *facepalm* reading american punters' comments makes my brain hurt. bring on the VQ25HR Turbo!
  3. how was that thread full of useless shit? guy posts up asking for social events in northern burbs, and we were trying to organise a meetup for some of the guys there inbetween Birds coming in and seagulling all over it with random stuff. you could have at least waited till the meet was organised and an event posted up, or locked it for reference. Now all the posts are lost in the ether that is the wasteland thread.
  4. agreed...
  5. At first your posts were poignant and offered a constructive argument/opinion. Now it just seems like you're trolling.
  6. Happy to lend a hand, not keen on flying solo though. As part of a team, sure!
  7. Adzmax Merged topic 'Vic Wasteland Thread' with 'Who Wants To Meet New Ppl N Make Frienzz...?' 10 Mar 2010, 10:17 AM Adz! wtf mang?
  8. Who's the knob jockulus maximus that just merged the Northside meetup thread with the wasteland?
  9. still no hail damaged cars showing up at auctions. come on people, take your cheques and write off your cars. stat! could fix this... but too much effort... http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged/vehicle/...lotid-252193928 hail damage is so much easier.
  10. nah, bought it a long time ago to upgrade a PC, which I just got around to, and realised that it was the wrong type (DDR3). Unfortunately I can't return it as it's out of the 7 day return period. CBF chucking 8gb of DDR2 RAM and buying 8GB of DDR3, so bought a $70 motherboard that worked instead.
  11. got a brand new in box motherboard for sale: ASUS P5P43TD-PRO http://asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=UJShXz25r89XDhwm Its an Intel Socket 775pin DDR3 Motherboard $50 anyone want it?
  12. nah these guys make decent kebabs. but its near latrobe bundoora, so a fair hike from SE guys.
  13. how do you correct and adjust in a car that struggles for traction? just cos it skids doesn't make it a great drift car. if that was the case we'd all be using commodores. i'd go a 350GT V35 over a 350Z Z33, the chassis just feels better to control. Plus it's probably cheaper compared to some oz delivered detuned bucket that used to be owned by some middle management shmuck that doesn't believe in depreciation.
  14. well I bought the ceffy for my old man as a present after he screwed up his left leg n couldn't use the clutch as much. lol so he'd understand.
  15. yer, I'll be drivin the maxima anyways cos I'll be comin after work. ummm how about saturday arvo or something? haha thursday night bar nights at LTU! good old days. yer i wouldn't miss bar night for pizza/kebabs either.
  16. Thursday arvo dinner meet at Yellow Village Kebab & Pizza House on Plenty Rd? They do epic pizzas n kebabs. Carpark at the back, so won't draw attention or hassles. Next to officeworks on Plenty Rd. http://maps.google.com.au/maps/place?hl=en...951077394950244
  17. 180sx = old, 1980's tech, inefficient, lots of cheap spare parts, cheap aftermarket parts 350z = newer, 2000's tech, more efficient, spare parts are expensive, aftermarket parts are expensive. both can be as fast as the other, at the end of the day the size of your wallet will dictate what you go with. as for track, if you're getting into proper racing classes, since the 180sx was never sold in oz it may not qualify in a few categories that the 350z will. if you're just getting into it as an amature, use a 180sx and bash it hard, rather than trying to baby a 350z around cos it costs more.
  18. lol just putting it out there sometimes people don't respond to a "no". did you hear about the massive bust last night in campbellfield? kents got shafted nicely.
  19. ok fess up, who's ceffydriver on youtube?
  20. point proven
  21. lol george, you've been to the workshop already from what Rush tells me, OK I'll organise a BBQ at Driftline sometime this week or on the weekend. When are you guys free? Alex, no skids anywhere near the shop, before after or during the BBQ, or we will break your legs and shit in your cornflakes. We've worked hard enough to get a good rep with the 5-O, other shopowners and the council and don't plan on screwing that up anytime soon.
  22. I can organise a BBQ one arvo at the workshop in campbellfield if you guys up north wanna come hang out.
  23. try r34 compliance shops, they usually have a "safe" pair they use for the compliance purposes on cars that come with xenons, they then swap em back on after the car is registered.
  24. yeah any car with a front swap is generally sus. i'd buy a ceffy. even in N/A form they're fun with a locked diff. great balance of practicality, moddability and stealth. sucks when it comes to panels though.
