  1. paint looks hot. if you pumped and rolled your guards, why does it still have a lip? anyways, that wheel fitment looks ok, don't bother cambering and other silly shit, if you're keeping it that height don't worry about it.
  2. sweet, was just about to pick up a pair of lithiums for the battery grip i just got for my D90. Got any discount codes or referral codes?
  3. bez, spoke to the guy you gave me the number to. he thought I was on crack, but I told him we'll be priming and painting and all he has to do is plastic weld so he agreed to it. world's first golf to have a VE holden rear bumper
  4. mods were done after compliance.
  5. err that's not the way to canberra. he's goin southbound on the tulla which takes him back to the city. Oh and yeah, congrats on the new beast chinny!
  6. As much as this is gonna hurt to do, chop the car into two, piss the rear half off (after you pull out the LSD I guess), ship the front half to oz. In WA, find a car that's got an almost dead engine or soemthing, get the rego on it (mail it in), then swap the engine and all the parts over from the half cut. Probably the easiest way to get most of your old car on the road in oz. You'll make some cash back on the panels from the old car in NZ, and maybe some cash from the parts you pull out of the car in WA. Probably not much tho.
  7. anyone know any shops that do plastic bumper repairs?
  8. oh no sorry I didn't mean to imply eneloops were cheapies. I meant Eneloop "or" cheapies... if you get what I mean.I used to use Eneloops before I discovered Powerex's. The Eneloops are on par with the 2400mAh Powerex's, but the 2700mAh's are in a class of their own.
  9. i hear a disposable income is kinda cool these days. </sarcasm>
  10. you could pull the engine and goodies out of the car, chuck it in a crate, send it over here and put the bits in an R32 you buy locally?
  11. HTC Desire HD? Fuck yes. Only phone I'd choose over an iPhone 4, not so much a jailbroken iPhone 4 tho. Don't expect the same battery life as an iPhone tho, expect to have to charge it by the end of the day every day. Other than that, it's awesome. Might wanna hold off a month for the Google Nexus S (built by samsung) or the Sony X10. Nexus S is like the new model Google phone (so updates n shit aren't provider dependent like with HTC, Samsung etc), Sony X10 is like an awesome piece of hardware running android... probably the best "phone" cos Samsung (korea) and HTC (china) aren't really up there with the build quality of Sony (japan/norway).
  12. ok wtf, turns out she was married in october last year. bit more stalking... http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images0...49d64542d24.jpg this is not relevant to my interests.
  13. haha my customs agent just asked me to come to their work drinks. she's not bad lookin either... http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-sn...1_1523313_n.jpg bitta chubs on the arms, but I can overlook it for the smile.
  14. I get Powerex 2700mAh batteries. They require a digital charger (so you can't just jam em in your regular ones) best to get a charger from them too. Results in no memory, and they don't dissipate a charge if you don't use em straight away like Eneloops and cheapies. I've left some for months in a case, chucked em in and they still had 95% charge. http://www.mahaenergy.com/store/viewitem.asp?idproduct=415 amazingly awesome and way way more powerful than most other batteries on the market. I refuse to use anything else in my cameras.
  15. alex. that's the same grille I got as well. Probably end up with same colour too, maybe a shade darker. but I'll be rockin wider wheels and more low Oh and real xenons, rather than those knockoff HID's he's sporting. Oh god. I've become a Dub Snob.
  16. just to throw in a curve ball, sometimes accidents in carparks are not covered by insurance. a lady scraped my bumper while taking a corner in a carpark. 1 witness and security camera evidence still didn't help. RACV just said they wouldn't cover it because it din't happen on a road.
  17. refer to this post
  18. no i didn't... what did it smell like?
  19. and no sydney spec failside knockoff kit or transexual tangerine paintjob But mad retspec for not caring about our opinions, same reason why I'm modding a golf. I couldn't give a flying fuck what you muppets think about it.
  20. if you leave it at the height it is, it shouldn't matter if it's mexican... cos it doesn't look that bad. you'd only wanna camber if you're gonna drop it and tuck it... which I highly doubt you're gonna. so don't bother. it doesn't stick out that far does it?
  21. none. you have a snap heavy mid engined RWD car. any negative camber on the front and not the rear will make it even more snap oversteer prone. it'll be like driving a loaded slingshot being head by a sweaty finger. have fun with that. the slashes aren't fuckin ornamental. Different cars, different parts, same chassis, as has been for the last 4 generations.
  22. only tards buy Verossas. Chaser/Cresta/Mark II is where it's at. besides, verossas aren't allowed for import on account of them looking like a dugong. True story. http://www.j-spec.com.au/wiki/Toyota/Chase..._only%29/id-514 then again, most skyline drivers cling to the 90's like it wasn't 20 years ago.
  23. JZX110 or GTFO. factory manual JZX100 in black can stay at the party tho. the rest GTFO.
  24. Camaros are already in oz as grey imports. cheaper than gettin one from Holden too.
  25. planning on havin kids soon are we? only asians and curries drive chasers, it's like daddy syndrome from growin up with a Camry in your family.
