  1. Kinda. HKS 2530's have a different spec bearing and actuator bodies etc. Same with the GT RS, you can get an equivalent Garrett model, but you'd be slumming it. if you ever post the word ceebz or any variant of it, I'll personally ban you.
  2. 2530 is better suited to RB20's... not RB25's. Factory Garrett 2530's are peasant spec anyways. GT RS is better option, also newer tech.
  3. no it doesn't. way more silver metallic in it.
  4. It's just a Nismo edition. it's like a regular GTR with some options you could get from the dealer thrown together as a bundle. And given that it's pre-molested it's not gonna be a collectors edition anytime soon. I say mod it however you want and don't hold back on account of it being a Nismo edition. Think of it as a 50th Anniversary edition Falcon.
  5. shoulda come for duck fagnuts'!
  6. coilpacks and loom out of the ceffy now. gonna redo the wiring and reheatshrink the lot and then wrap it in heatwrap tape. chucked in a CA18 coilpack to replace a missing cylinder and it started firing again. so was just faulty coils. huzzah. $80 fix. also didn't realise, but some fucker's broken a key off in the driver side door lock, and there's signs of someone having tried to force it open. lol never realised cos the alarm was keyless entry. retards must not know about ceffies, they've got the same door lock workaround as R33's. so much easier than forcing a door lock open.
  7. too bad the lambo that sported 300zx headlights was also the one with the poorest build quality (when lambo was havin a hard time makin a profit and had just been sold)... at least they painted the inside of the headlight black, which nissan didn't do for a while after.

  9. still looks and handles like a bag of dicks just like it did in 89. that's why the VG won engine of the year so many years and not car of the year.... coz it's instant engine out.
  10. this was much easier when driftline was around, just drop it off and pick it up, buy lunch, beers or stippers as payment. might ring up monty and see how he's goin at chasers n if he can get one of em to look at it for me. femno heyyyy... hmm might facebook him
  11. S30 is like my childhood dream car. I came close with a corvette stingray, but I'm determined to have one in my life... which means any run of the mill GTR will get the flick in preference. I plan on spending a bit on it too. tubs, S15 dash conversion etc, cos it's a bit ragged on the inside and can do with some paint. I need to start sellin cars too... which means I need to fix some of em... Who's a good workshop in the SE that can diagnose R32 ABS problems? I think I've got a blockage in my brake line, but cbf pullin it all out and checking.
  12. lol no it hadn't even left japan yet.
  13. wonder if the plates ZOMG are available... that would be sweet on an old Zed... hmmmmmm. dunno just sent a deposit, waiting for it to get sent to the mechanic to go over it once again and replace any panels etc that might need work before it gets here (cos it'll probably be cheaper). Sold the GTR I got too. Good thing it was still at the shop waiting to get worked on. I posted a link to the car on J-Spec a while back. It's the Midnight Wangan car.
  14. at least it gets you laid. I need a brown strapped white faced watch (the IWC is a black faced black strap and the PP is silver strap and face). Not a fan of the 18k gold around the face, I actually like the plain silver with brown strap Cartier, and I never wear gold jewelery so I'm still undecided. The non gold version is also like 1.5K cheaper. Gold one is signature series though, so holds its value a lot better. bought a s30 fastback no more dyno chasing, it's all about the vintage braaaap braaaap for me now.
  15. meh, some people like blowing money on 300kw. some people enjoy knowing that they have what it costs to get 300kw around their wrist.
  16. lol @ armani watch. way to fag it up. If you're gonna wear an armani watch you might as well go ahead and buy a Swatch watch. I've got a IWC I bought with my first company bonus (bought it off the CEO ) and a Patek Phillipe my dad gave me. In the watch world Cartier is kinda mainstream, cos they started out as a jeweler and not a watchmaker. I don't wanna keep wearing a 10k IWC everyday, so the Cartier is to take over casual duties. when you're working in teh corporate world a good watch says more about you than you can ever hope to get across in a conversation, and can be the difference between sealing a deal or a promotion or calling the shots in a negotiation and slumming it. Its an investment in your career and social life, and doesn't depreciate as much as a car, nor get you labeled as a hoon etc. Hell if you buy the right watch it'll even go up in value. I don't need to buy it, but I'm gettin in while the exchange rate is good cos I stand to save about $4000. More if I can convince one of the publicists to pick it up and wear it on the way back, so I save on taxes.
  17. gotta decide if I want this bad enough to be broke till next month :\
