yo, I had my chassis rails replaced through Down Under Panel and Paint. I would strongly recommend NOT going with them. As I am yet to get a receipt and the workmanship was half assed. A baboon with ADD could have done a better job. All up to straighten the floor pan and chassis rails cost me $1700.00. About 1600 more than what I paid for. For decent work, and its only straightening it will cost 1Kish give or take a few hundred It all depends on the condition the rails are in and the quality you are after. All up its about a weeks job, mine was there for OVER 3 weeks for reasons like the guy who is doing it had a window fall on his foot and slice it in half, its been real busy etc etc this is after a 2 week wait to book it in. I have only heard top things about precision. Best bet take the car down and say this is what needs doing, he will look under the car and go "its farked" or "its not to bad it will take about 1 week and cost $x" Ask about the process and get a feel for the guy, express your concern for dodgy work and be honest. If the work is good take in a bottle for them. If your not impressed then go else where the car will thank you later on. Hope this helps you as well as others. PS NO MORE YELLOW

had the same issue with mine. I replaced the Coilpacks and problem solvered. Its always good to replace them and they are not that expensive. I picked up a set for $140.00 off ebay 4 months ago and they run a treat.

yeah. All the hard stuff is done. The stuff left for me to complete is: Fit Rear Seats and Belts Put the Missing Bolt Into the FMIC Secure Front Bumper Fit Stock Tyres The car is licensed as a 2 seater, the inspector wants every hole filled, including seat belt holes and brackets removed. I called BS on him and he bent me over. The FMIC has 3 14mm bolts holding it, there is no movement but he wants the 4th bolt in. The front bumper has 1cm of movement in the front bumper, less than what there was when I first got it licensed so more cable ties ftw. Front tyres have camber wear so I will throw on some new rubber.

I bought the car over east sight unseen. I received in writing all issues with the car. However when i recieved the car it was another story. If you want the list, PM me. I spoke to the solicitors but with the added stress on top of everything I decided not to. The missus was noticing how angry i was getting, uni was suffering and at work I had a shorter fuse. I just put it down to character building and a life lesson. Doesn't matter though, the car is finally moving along at a steady pace and I am content with it. Soon to come: GReddy ultimate, GTR injectors, HKS cam gears, removal of the extra injectors, new tailshaft and DBA slotted brakes.

long ass haul? Its still on going. I've had the car over 1 year now...Its getting there slowely. I paid raheem $500 to get the car over, he did little to no work, took the car over once (before the current pit issues) and thats it. I fitted the bar myself. Quite a simple job its just 4 bolts. You could easily do it yourself.

I do believe it will sound decent live but I was after something along the lines of hybrd theory. I regret buying my car everyday. Not regretting the choice of car, just this one. It has taken me over a year just to fix the car from the last guy. I am very happy with the skyline, specifically the r32 with a 20 and box. I have not had any issues mecahnically (engine and box) yet. Its your preference, 32/33 Get what you want. I chose a 32. why? More profound shape and I'm definitely not a captain of a boat. Sure they are older but parts are cheaper. son of rajab knows you wont be wanting to push 400hp in the first year or so. RB20s can handle 350hp easy with running stock internals, gtr injectors and better turbo. The best thing about a 20 is if the engine does go bang you can pick up one for less than 1K. In the furture Im sure you will want to put in something with more power so you have two options, 25 or 26 into the r32. You're budget is the limit to what you can do. Or if you do not like the 32 after a year or so you can sell and go to the 34. "unless you can afford to run it, insure it i wont recommend getting it as they send you broke" - completely agreed. IIf you cant afford 1K+ per year insurance, maintenance ets stay with the lance. Peace,
