  1. just bumping my own old thread Took it for a service today to RE Customs - got a call back from Ray, prognosis negative - yep damn welsh plugs are haunting my ass again! Warranty wont take care of it. and it looks like im going to have to pay shit load to get that fixed.... damn damn welsh plugs
  2. Hey! I been driving an 82 civic since 2000 - its time i changed
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=67091 thats the pic i posted up for another member - its about 130 when i bought it - the apexi was 110 or something another one http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=67092
  4. 50 or 60k? maybe more? Mint looking car that is...
  5. apex-i makes good products, def a good one to get as u can conceal it too. I have a greddy turbo timer - reason i paid extra and got htat was because it had other functions like 0-100kph, 0-400m, and so on....but the blue glow from it makes it visible to cops etc. Edit: You can probably install it yourself, but if ur not sure, best to take it to a mechanic. You dont want to fck up the electrics in your car
  6. lol - i know i know....i go to anger management classes and say woosah a million times a day anyway time to get my car into RE Customs for a service and get it dynoed....
  7. yeah make them pay every little cent - twas a mistake i made, never asked my "friends" to pay for it lifts to those stupid pissups etc - backstabbing bastards
  8. gts-4 perhaps? only thing missing is the turbo right....
  9. reminds me of my ex trying to change me.....it was like trying to cage a wild animal in order to tame it - no one can tame the emsta.... agreed with ctjet - just watch tokyo drift at the start where the bimbo goes "i thought u loved me?" - if i was the guy driving the viper, id have stopped, smacked the bitch silly and told her to get the f**k out and thinking about whooping some commodore ass is the wrong way of thinking about what car you wanna get. That is only going to get you in trouble with the law or get you killed. Think about it before you do something like that. Everyone here has been on their p's and everyone here has done something stupid (atleast once) - so we speak from experience
  10. man - lots of little curries here these days (cept for basti - hes a lanky lankan) from one lankan to another - your parents are going to hate it when you mod up your car. After my dad found out about the pod filter he said "you idiot" - or something to that effect in tamil. any mods you put on the car, you will never get the money back - thats for sure. But depending on what mod you wanna do - just search first on the forums, then have a look at the sponsers or traders when it comes to buying the stuff. EG - for the exhaust, I went with batmbls products and added a trust pe2 catback - so not too loud, but better response from the car (set me back 1500). Will be getting the dyno results today. Most people end up doing the exhaust and pod/intercooler first followed by the powerfc and boost I think - well thats what I would have done too. Exhaust will be around 800 - 1500 (depending on what you wanna do), pod (100-150), intercooler (400 - 700), powerfc (around 900), bleed valve (i have no idea). Oh and check with insurance before u do the mods - just in case.

    Job Websites

Hey all, This has nothing to do with cars but anyone know of any other good job websites other than Seek.com.au, MyCareer.com.au and careerone.com.au? Maybe its because of xmas, but there are no graduate positions being advertised on any of those websites that fit the job descriptions that im looking for (tax/business service accountant). Thanks all
  17. Its up to him as to how he wants to modify the car - and using the forums he can figure out what he wants to do next. But the only thing I will say is - its not enough just making power, to do well on the roads and/or track, handling and all that should be looked at as well
  18. lucky mofo - congrats on the purchase!
  19. happy b'day!
  20. the cars that I see there are the same as either j-spec or prestigemotorsport. If you do a search, a lot of people have gone with either of the above - maybe have a look at them if u want opinions
  21. oooh....the real car simulator - too bad it doesnt have the nissan edition too
  22. dont forget - it depends on the skills of a driver too.....
  23. what everyone else said - as for the mods - you dont have to do it all at once. Do it little by little. Enjoy it till you get bored and need more power. Edit - bills so far for me - not much. Had a few problems here and there, but warranty took care of that. Only had to pay for a new timing belt. But other than that, just hte usual stuff like maintenance costs.
  24. hey looks good man - still love supras good luck with the sale
  25. do these "fun" days happen often? Im keen to try out my car, but I dont think its ready yet (coolant is going somewhere, have to sort that out and other problems). Is there one at sandown happening soon?
