Better having a gtr badge on the r34gtt rather than that civic or that kia (remember those pics??) ..... Fake or not - what I have found is (and i lost count of the number of times this happened) people have pulled up along side me and asked me if my 33 was a gtr - No one will really find out - except for fellow skyline owners and other motoring enthusiasts who know their cars.... EDIT - i dont have a gtr badge on mine btw - infact its badge-less

Hmm - i checked on www.tgsperformance.com.au - the rims I have (HR racing) is around the $1200 - $1400 range. Perhaps wheels like these are suited more for looks rather than for racing.

HPI had a story on a black skyline 4 door that had a gtr conversion - this is probably the same. Still, if someone is keen, they should check it out - if its done properly it might still run well.

There are lots of wheels that are made by other lesser known companies - does this mean that these wheels are not as good as ones made by enkei or volk?

the trust pe2 is def below the legal limit of 92db - it produces a very slight howl between the 3k and 5k range - but compared to the blitz nur spec its almost like a standard exhaust.... I think someone said its at 88db or there abouts

speaking of skylines on videos - shin inoue's black prospec r34 is for sale - 59,000 british pounds it seems - you know, the one that came in that skyline video, the one that went around nurburgring and stuff...now thats a car!

checked it, doesnt recommend that I use it for my 96 gtst - so I havent. But my friend used it in his 06 accord euro, and says that he feels the response is so much better. He is still testing to see how many k's to the ltr it does.

quiet means, compared to the x-force, the blitz and the apexi bomber - its very very quiet i can probably get a video recording, but I wouldnt know where to put it up.

Sorry about resurrecting an old thread, was just doing some reading while having a cup of dilmah tea (supposedly the finest ceylon tea) Couldnt be happier Links - I still have to slap the car on the dyno, will do that next service. But yeah, batmbls products and the trust cat, is fantastic. Its very quiet too, like, as I mentioned above, I liked the growl of the x-force, but the PE2, is very quiet, goes well when Im building up my car in terms of performance. Basically, got RE Customs to install it, and it was a straight bolt on job - the only trouble was a couple of the bolts that were hard to remove it seems. In time, will get more mods done. Right now, I need a job

well, whatever that happened - the problem was found. Hopefully BBE can get that problem rectified.

They did this with the mclaren f1s as well - when Tiff Needle did his 5th gear report, he said that many of the mclaren owners made their car unique - some even put an outline of their face on the carbon fibre or something.... So, Im not suprised that some rich/famous dude/dudette has done this to the veyron...though i must admit, instead of doing that to a car, they could have given it to me
