Speaking of tailgaters - the worst, and the scariest shit i have seen - was on princess hwy near oakleigh. We saw a camry coming real fast, and I shit you not - behind it, a big ass truck (something like a mack) - both were going like 100, where the camry went, the truck went - and if the camry had to break suddenly - im sure the force of the truck would have sent the car into a spin or something, and probably into one of the light poles..... Soo many idiots on the roads these days...

Thats actually quite a scary incident. And, the idiot who was on the back of your car, could have been killed. I would do the same thing if I was u ardie - in the heat of the moment, its either u life and ur car that u risk OR its the idiot thats trying to jump on your car and damage it. I dont like saying this, but I wouldnt have remorse if the person fell on the road and cracked their head open. Did you report this to the cops? If so, did the cops do anything? Its a damn shame whats going on these days. If the cops are not doing anything to catch these fools, then what choice do we have - but to run red lights and cut through traffic in an effort to get away from those vandals. The other thing is, a few weeks ago, a mate and I went cruising around there. We were in my skyline - basically went from frankston all the way to st kilda (down beach rd) - no trouble that night, cept for a few drunks in st kilda. Anyway - i dont now what the point of that story is......

im getting an x-force turbo back soon from just jap - i think it sounds awesome.

I dont think i have experienced anything like that yet - touch wood. Just want to add though - they are jealous of what we own. Holdens and fords dont have the capabilities to match the japanese technology. Though I do think that holdens have some nice beasts - its all in the big engine that gulps down heaps of petrol - following the american way. Wonder what the all those idiots will say when the new godzilla lands here.....probably go and have a toss about it.

Hmm, I checked with x-force themselves, and another exhaust workshop. The RRP for the system is at $1600. The workshop qouted me a price of $1,500 (including fitting). I checked some of the online stores, but none of them have the turbo back system - they all have cat-back and then I will have to spend extra on the other items like the dump pipe etc. All in all, it comes to over $1200. Anywhere else I can check around melbourne?

suprisingly, justcars has been quite good - i have to pay 1091 a year (but then again im 24 and on rating 1)

a quick summary of what i have had to do to my car over the last 3 months that i owned it - timing and other belts, waterpump, rear light. Apart from the waterpump (which was covered by warranty), i had to pay for the rest - came to a total of nearly $300 (mind you the lights i ordered from japan through the dealer). Then there is the petrol - ultimate @ $1.50 a ltr (usually about 30 ltrs). Next there is going to be my exhaust, turbotimer upgrade and 5000klm service - well thats gonna be inexcess of 1600 easily. - coming to a grand total of - almost 2000 in 3 months... Just adding - if i knew i couldnt pay for that, i woudl have just stuck with something that is not a turbo or an import....just my 2 cents

despite magpie's outburst, im gonna have to agree with Mr. Italy - skyline owners know how much it costs to run and maintain their cars. And it aint cheap....maybe if your worried about the costs - stick to integras

have an 82 civic to take to the train station - but the rest, its the r33 and no - the civic does not have vtec, and its currently running gears 1,2,4 out of the 5 forward gears

Is that only for 32's or is that for 33s and 34s also? If there is heaps of rust, isnt that indicative of the car being in an accident?

Not really - i got mine for under 17 from GT Auto imports. After ORCS it came to 17500. If u are going to pay more than that for a stock r33, then keep looking around.
