If it has been engineered, chances are, they wont be able to do anything... but they like to spend a lot of f**king time checking everything over... ive got someone in Brookvale who can do it for you...

I dont really care about all that, i made my own computer, and several of my friends computers... not to mention i work with computer geeks... do we get the ram with it eventually? and how much is it? i am wondering about receipts and what not... still interested

yeah i've done most of what you've said... these new ones are good down to .5 ohms, so they must have fixed whatever problem they were having before... so far i dont have any problems with it, heat is always a problem though... getting the shell of the amp vented is a good start, and getting aircon to the boot is even better, but its not really causing a problem yet... i gotta up the power of my subs now... the neverending power dance between subs and amps is well under way...

stockies are paper and shit... they look like your average old paper speaker, with clarion litteraly stamped on the magnet... you wouldnt buy them at a store, and they wouldnt be sold at a store... if they are of any quality at all, they would be aftermarket ones... dunno how good, but not stock...

anyone use it? anyone heard it been used? just wondering if anyone else has it... i have the PHD5000W mono block that states 5000W max, and 3000W rms... unlike other brands, the RMS is bigger and more obvious then the max rating... which was a good start... its powering 2 subs, 1050W RMS all up... im still testing the amp, pushing the subs as hard as they can go a lot of the time... ive only done it on short drives cause i dont drive far very often... to work, from work, to lindfield from turramurra... 15 minute drives normally... pumping as hard as i can, checking heat build up when i stop... the first day i used it, there was a lot of heat... now that could have been cause it was a very hot day, or the initial rushed setup... i changed it the next day and havnt had a problem... im thinking it was just the heat of the day... There is a fan inside the amp that turns on when it gets too hot... which is yet to be activated... now another good thing about this amp is that its not massive... its about the same size as my 400W amp... im just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this brand, any warnings, any advice on something to look out for? i do want to know how their subs handle, cause im thinking of getting a set... any info would be handy

my mate did it in his commonwhore a few years back... personally, i feel there are somethings that just shouldnt be in cars... how long do you sit in the car doing nothing if you have a computer in it??? im against them... they are a good idea and all that, but i just dont like em... i have enough shit like that in the car already...

Heres the supra i was talking about... you can see part of the engine in, the turbo and super chargers are mounted... and that thing at the front is a radiator, not an intercooler... custom made exhaust manifold... not the first one they made... but best one for the job... anyway, its coming along nicely... we're still waiting on parts and what not...

yeah theres no way strathfield or JB are touching this car... this is the only part i need done by a profesional... i already know the guys over at doran pretty well... but who doesnt these days... and i know of a few others around, theres one in Ryldamere... diamond car audio or something like that... i know where it is, just forgotten the name... i only need the box done too, everything else i can do myself... but thanks for the info, ill check em out

anyone know of any nearby that do good work? The plan was to do the entire audio job myself, which so far has been going great, but now it seems that the boot is somewhat out of my league, as i dont really want to learn how to make a custom box in my own car... The original plan was an MDF dual slot port box for 2 15's... ive since thrown that idea out because it would be frigging hard to make and weigh a shit load... and i couldnt really get the litreage i wanted... im looking to have a nice, show style box made for the boot... as far as design goes, i dont intend on using the boot for anything else, but i am going to want to get to the amps and what not... i know of a couple places around that do good work, and im sure they charge through the roof... but if it is of high, guarenteed quality work, then i dont mind... does anyone know anyone in that business? or dealt with anyone? can you suggest any companies?

no, im going to shut the f**k up and say 'yes officer' like everyone should, then comply the plates to the RTA's laws, not Mr Policemans laws... as they are the governing body over the roads and vehicles...
