How confusing. Is it worth kicking up a stink for the correct spec 3076 with port shrouded cover? Or not worth my trouble?

Can we confirm if this is filled or not? Just had a member call up interested wanting 1, 2 or 3 spots and have mates that will enter too...

This is what I was told as well So with everything that has been said in this thread, wtf do I have?! Don't know the ID tag (it's at home) but measured the comp wheel and it was the size mentioned by Garrett to be the 3076... My biggest problem was no anti surge slots, but they can be drilled in the future if need be...

hmmm, turns out the only thing I thought I didn't upgrade when it was changed (the clutch) was upgraded... Not a stock spec clutch but an Exedy heavy duty clutch as I just found out... after driving it for 2+ years

Guilt Toy is my tuner, among other things. He's entered a flurry of events off the street and that burnout could have been at any one of them... Hill climbs, track days, drags, powercruise etc... I don't really agree with what he is saying towards MissR34 but he's probably right. I live with a mate of mine who is talking about putting a T04Z in his TT supra (that isn't even driveable yet) and all he's driven is his NA supra. Another mate actually went ahead with a massive GT47R turbo on his supra, and it's been in the shop for over 2 years now... Sometimes peoples heads need to be pulled in. Good luck to the girl and all her challenges ahead, but a lot of people have voiced their opinions on this, and a lot of them talk from experience.

I've never heard lag and standard turbo said in the same post... If the bov is working properly, then maybe you have an ignition problem... Another thing, that has happened in the past, is the adjustable cam gear on tight?

I personally went through a large amount of Boss gear when I was in school and had no job... It's not good. Blew the amps all the time and the headunits are cheap and nasty... would I do it again? Yes. It was cheap and taught me a lot.

Well I know for a fact, and the entire SAU:NSW brigade will back me up on this, that THAT is exactly what happened to my car. (I do not consider my car to be the 'norm' however) It was my first dyno day, I didn't own a boost controller and the only thing I had done to the engine was the front mount. Didn't even have a pod on there... I ran a little competition to see who could get the closest guess. Steve-0 won with a stupid guess of 150kws... It hit 178kws Maybe the duel stage (grounded) solenoid was farked, who knows...
