  1. Stamford Tyres here in Sydney can probably help you out.
  2. DBA 4000 XS cross-drilled and slotted. They were brand new.
  3. Like KeyMaker said, if someone is up to the challange of trying to help me out, I'm more than up for it. The three workshops that I have tried are all well respected here in Sydney. They are qualified mechanics and I was there every time throughout the entire fitting and bedding-in process, so nothing dodgy was going on. I don't think there is anything in this thread I have not tried, including the Nissan shim kit and copper grease. Also, there is squeal and then there is 'squeal'. The orignal noise that came from the Enless/Ultimate DBA 4000 combo truly made the car undrivable. I was pulled up for it, abused by other drivers - you could hear it for a kilometre away. I can live with the standard pads and a slight bit of squeal now, but what's the point if my braking capacity is reduced?
  4. I think someone needs to start a sticky on this issue considering both the amount of threads and misinformation out there. I had this intense squealing problem after swapping to DBA 4000 rotors and Endless pads. In trying to retify the problem, I've been to three workshops, swapped in and out five sets of pads (including Ferodo and Bendix Ultimate, Advance and Heavy Duty) had the rotors machined twice and on and off the car countless times, even tried the above combinations with standard rotors. I had the calipers rebuilt at considerable expense, tried a variety of shims, goos and compounds trying to get them to shut up. Currently, I'm back to standard pads with the DBA 4000s with custom shims, and the squeal is still there on occassion but bearable. My pedal feel, and general braking power, however, is poor.

  7. They work fine, complete with 'opening ceremony'. The latter is something the cheaper gauges are missing. I installed three into the three-gauge binnacle in my GTT and they're great. Like all 'smoked' gauges, they can be a touch hard to see in bright sunlight, but visors are supplied if that's a concern for you.
  8. I've had this problem for some time. First, with Endless SSYs and DBA 4000s the squealing was unbearable. We tried everything - chamfering, machining, goo, shims, Bendix Ultimates... Anyhow, I had Bendix Heavy Duty put in recently and although better, they still squealed. Eventually, someone worked out that the seals were worn in the calipers, and when the piston moved towards the rotor, the seal tried to roll with it and thus the piston wouldn't detract properly, leaving the pad contacting the rotor lightly = heat = glaze = squeak etc etc Long story short, I had all my calipers rebuilt. Seal kits were about $100 each caliper and the same for labour. After this, it was dead silent. That was about a week ago and although I do get some minor, minor squeaks, its 1000 times improved. I'm just hoping it doesn't come back. Just my 2c...

  16. I've seen this thing in the flesh - a very, very clean example. Whoever picks it up won't be disappointed.
  17. Came off an R34 GTT, but box reads R33/32 as well. http://www.centraxauto.com.au/Endless/appl...ons/app-pad.htm
  18. SOLD Up for grabs are a pair of front and rear Endless SSY brake pads. Part numbers EP230SSY and EP231SSY. Pads were on car less than a week (incorrectly diagnosed pads as squealing) and are near new, with almost all pad left, as can be seen in images. Pads come chamfered. Will post to other states for flat free of $10. PM me with any queries, questions. You won't find better. Looking for $200.
