  1. There sooo dumb it's not funny... Does it have Holden rocker covers? Cause that would be even funnier

  5. That he did... He also called Erin a bunch of nasty names and generally made an idiot of himself online... It's in the past anyway... Happy Bday MF...
  6. It's an illusion...
  7. Beat ya!!! Yep sounds pretty normal to me Qunto..
  8. Oh and try to search in future
  9. Factory boost guage isn't in psi... It's in mmHg... Use an online conversion utility if you want to be exact but it's roughly half...

    Mr Sly

G'day MR SLY... Your not the shy type are ya
  11. It's got nothing to do with the actuator... Well it does... Thanks anyway... Yeah hopefully dropping the exhaust after the front pipe might reveal something... It seems like an efficiency problem to me but why am I the only one experiencing it? Car has a 3" dump and front in one... (not split wastegate)... 3" Trust cat back... Fairly old cat back though... 3 mufflers in it too... All straight through but... Hmmm wonder if I'm up for a new exhaust... I expected a little boost up high with the gate wired open, but it's making heaps... Car was stock as can be when I bought it... First owner in Australia... So I doubt the turbo is different... Looks like a 33 unit to me... No signs of any work being carried out around there in the past either...
  12. Nope the boost is not spiking and then dropping back... With a short hose from the FMIC piping to the actuator (no controller), the boost sits on 5psi till about 4500rpm, and then rises, and rises, and rises, to 12psi+... But it's not an actuator problem... This happens with the actuator disabled and the wastegate wired open... Thanks for the advice...
  13. /sigh... This really sux... I can't for the life of me solve this problem... I wired the wastegate open this weekend... Result: Bugger all boost (and power) until about 4500rpm... After 4500rpm, boost rises fairly quickly up to 12psi+ So open wastegate - 12psi+... I don't get it... That rules out any piping to actuator leaks, actuator problems, wastegate stickyness, hose problems... The boost gauge is working perfectly and the AFM is maxing out up high in the revs... So the boost pressures are correct... I plan on dropping the exhaust after the front pipe sometime soon... Not sure what this will achieve but I'm stumped ATM... Any other suggestions guys? Stock BOV should still be OK at this level of tune correct? Would a leak somewhere else in the system cause these problems? Could the wastegate be somehow "clogged" up?
  14. Fuse... In the boot...
  15. Now thats what I'm talking about!!! Great idea Junky...

  20. Congrats Wazza and Jules... Welcome James!!! All the best guys You'll never look back!
  21. WTF? :slap:
  22. Let me know if you ever plan to sell...
  23. IIRC the 34's use a helical LSD which would benefit from a good LSD diff oil Sarpi...
  24. I don't think so... I could be wrong though... But for the purposes of this argument, Mick is right in saying the viscous unit of a viscous LSD is sealed and seperate from the diff oil...
  25. Relearn the knock sensor function when the car is warm... In the ETC menu IIRC... Knock Set...
