Nah even my measly 300kw causes pulling to the right side on a hard gear change, as does with my mates, same power.

One of the importers on this forum is bringing in decent priced engines. You could just take yours out and get it refitted with turbo pistons (forged even??) then bolt on the bits and slap on a piggy back fuel computer. You eliminate the compression problems, and you know the engine is 100% nice n fresh.

Thats what it was holding fine, doesnt imply thats the limit of the clutch. I will reqire it to hold more than that.

Whats the power rating on this clutch, and how hard is it to drive? Very bitey? Very heavy pedal feel?

Has it got aftermarket suspension? often worn struts and pillowball tops make knock noises, esp on gear changes etc.

Overal the R33 is larger, and the extra power is most likely due to the rb25de in the r33 coming with the updated vct head. I think when your considering an NA skyline it really comes down to visual preferance as neither of the cars are overly quick in the scheme of things, so basicly in the end all i can sugest ids go for what suits you best. I like my R32 GTS25, was a great first car, and why i havent been able to let it go just yet, but eventually you start looking for more grunt.

This has been done, i guy put it in his audi, running via touch screen in dash. I think the thread was on this forum somewherer actually....no idea where though

some one posted that they got quoted 2k to do a full manual conversion on a r33, if you know much about r33 the boxes arent cheap, so thats really really good price, i wouold sugest going and finding that thread (it was only a few days ago) and i tihnk it was in brissy to. For 2k fully converted, using the stronger rb25 box, id go for it

He doesnt own it anymore thats what he had when he was 20ish, orange sandman ute. And he just bases all comparisons of other cars compared to his old sandman. He bought it brand new for $6500 (theres an indication of inflation for you lol) aparently it burnt oil from day one. Quality holden product hehee

Which wire does what? I want to utilise this switch instead the dodgy mounted one in my car runninf the FET driving lights. I can work out which nwire does what on the fet switch, just gotta work out how to wire it to the factory switch. Cheers G

Atleast they stepped away from the falcadores, im still trying to bring my old man about, i think a drive of the GTR may sway him.
