  1. Just like to wish everybody a safe and Happy new year "2007"
  2. yes, but the value of the wreck will come out of the final payout cheque.
  3. What ever you take off, you will have to replace with a stock item. These also cannot be a mod that is on your insurance cover. eg cd player and sound system value $2,000 . insured value $2,000 on insurance note. you will have to buy those back by buying the wreck before auction. good luck anyway
  4. Seen a white series2 r33 on the way to work this morning and plenty more times aswell. It has depp dish gold rims,stainless exhaust, a front mount and a sau sticker on the back window. Im in a crappy little red toyota seca. the gtr is sitting home in the garage waiting to empty my wallet of some cash. Gday to you anyway
  5. What time are people heading out there. Does anyone know the timetable. ie warm up racing etc
  6. LOL sorry LOL Cant help myself LOL
  7. Ask steve from manta racing. He worked out the problem with mine. pm me if you cant find the number
  8. Considering that when these cars sold in nissan dealerships over here in 1990-1992, they cost $100,000 + and were paying about a third of that today {$25-$35 32GTR} anyway, I think we are yards ahead . I think alot of us should know that the running cost's will be high but saying that, we are driving a GODZILLA. This car is a ledgend because It didn't brake on the race track and flogged everything else around. I would say enjoy this experience of owning this ledgend and have fun. Not many people will have this experience . It's a GTR so drive it like ONE and enjoy plus it's great for our ego's
  9. Is this another $25 dollar day or will it be cheaper? Does anyone have the full timetable and are we likely to see the cappa ute,manaro and fpv typhoon there? If they are this should still be a top day and we should see some great action anyway. By the way I have about an hour of drifting action on cd from a couple of the last event's if anyone wants to watch.
  10. GTSTD1 Was that you who gave me a breatho test on main north two or three weeks ago ? Nice to know police officers appreciate nice cars. I was in the silver r32gtr
  11. Is anyone else going to come and if so can we do sau show and shine like last time {free entry etc}
  12. They would probably love it. Their little yellow sticker book's would i mean
  13. Just cuirous if the timetable is right because it doesnt show last months meet if it is right GREAT , who's coming. :PBJ:
  14. okay , sitting in the shed gathering dust is a stock set of turbos, dump pipes, manifolds, front mount and computer. where do you live and do you want to come for a drive to make up your mind . i have 297rwks at the wheels. question is can you afford the running cost's of the GTR. pm me if you want to see the gear. :sorcerer:
  15. Hey vange, do you want 20 lines out the front of your house. might make this w--ker shut up lol
  16. They are silicon and rated up to 300 kph not that we wil do those speeds , but stick damm well if i might say.
  17. I read in some car mag that they wanted to keep the price below $80,000 because of its market competitor's the sti wrx,rx8,evo 's and the 350Z etc whishful thinking anyway
  18. I had brigdestone potenza's on my gtr which has just shy of 300 rwk's and got less than 5,000km out of them. Now at $350 a trye, I thought they were s__t. Now a mate at Affordable Wheels and Tyres told me to try the Hankook K102 tyres . They stick better in all weather and last 3 to 4 times longer. Now at $145 a tyre you tell me Price matters By the way my tyre size is 225 50R16 92V Thats my thought's anyway
  19. Heres a list for my general costs over the last four years and 60,km's $4,200 for twin plate {os gilken} old one was slipping by 120, k $2,200 discs and pads all round neeeded doing 120, k $10,000 N1 turbos required, dump pipes, manifold, gaskets etc. OLd ones leaking oil at 130, k $200 cooling system flush just in case $800 Air flow meter 3X pain in the ass $300-$350 for meter and $450 dyno and fault finding plus labour $1000 front bushes Old 1's nackered at 135, k $600 rear cradle bushes old 1's nackered at 125,k aluminium cones put in . work better, prevent body roll $1600 100, k service Due and needed timing belt tensioners replaced. $800 timing belt tensioners nackered again plus service 135, k fishy 1's werth $400 list can go on and on so when you chuck in water pump ,fuel pump, tyres{7 pair's} plus services at 5,thou intrevals as you can guess lots of dollars any way. Then theres the mod list hehe exhaust, power fc, intercooler ,pipe work, window tint, stereo, alram and speakers to name a few. now my car cost $35,000 and is the last of the 32 gtr's being a 1994 so i guess it dosent matter how old it is , they a still bl##dy expensive to have and drive Bloody FUN drive but :PBJ:
