I wish to offer my condolences to all involved. I suspect Drew and Jasmine arent out of the woods yet. Myself being a pasenger in a high speed accident a few years back suffered head injuries {facial and back}I sort of know what he might be going through. Hope he didnt end up with a broken jaw {3 weeks of soup sucked} .As far as visiting him dont be surprized if he is sleeping plenty of the time because it is better than putting up with the pain of broken ribs if he has any. I hope them both a speedy recovery and hope to see them back on their feet again. Who ever see's him , you have to have a joke with him about the chopper ride {just dont let him laugh to much, it might hurt} . As I said to a few mates "typical I ,get a ride on a chopper but didnt get to look out the bloody window , could only see the light's on the ceiling on the damm thing" any way to the rest of you , Its great to see suppport from fellow skyliner's when things go grey.

Maximum Power From Gtr With Stock Turbos
savage GTR replied to Topaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
my R32GTR was pulling 243rwkw out of my stock turbos. the boost was set at .9bar but had hks dump pipes, high flow cat {4"} and 3 1/2" straight through exhaust with carbon 4" cannon muffler . The car also had a american imported high flow cooler 600x300x90 , hks 3" pipes to plenum and Apexi power fc. Other than that , car was stock. Never missed a beat. Since then have put in N1 turbos and car makes 292rwks and only on 1.1bar of boost . All I can say is the exhaust is the biggest secret to power with stock turbo's. -
To the guy's who collect the diecast car's , you might want to stay away from the car shows then. Last time I went to one I came home with a HKS R32GTR 1/18 scale and a Taisan R32GTR 1/18 scale . Cost buck's though. I also have the 1990,1991 and 1992 bathurst legends in 1/42 scale. I got a 1/12 R32GTR model kit for my birthday a while back but still had no time to assemble. I have been cocentrating more on my 1/32 scale A10 Thunderbolt. This thing is 508mm long with a wingspan of 542mm. metal landing gear, exposed mini cannon and engines.

Nice present, looks nice. I thought I would let you know that I have a !/12 scale nizmo R32GTR model. It has rubber tyres, working steering, mesh grill, hinged doors, turbo's brake disc's and even metalic badges . I have been to lazy lately to even start to assmble. lol This one was $300 though and limited to a few hundred models. I got it for my birthday to.{two years ago}This one is mainly assemble with screws and springs and will take time to assemble {many hours} .Its about 375mm long. Got it from complete hobbies main north rd brahma lodge. I have other models to finish first 1\32 A10 thuderbolt , 1\35 apache helicopter etc . If you want a look, I might be able to post pic's or maybe catch up with ya so you can have a look. Any way nice present!

I ahd the same problem except was right side , replaced switch and problem solved Now 1yr later has started again , mechanic's had been checking electrical problem {turns out to be afm again} and since then right headlight playing up again This time I think it may be the relay {getting old } For the rest of you though, I would suggest you track down a spare light switch and give that a go . As said above should only be $50. :sorcerer:
-
Hi people's, I have a question about headlight's. My R32GTR's right headlight seems to take a few seconds to turn on{ The left light turns on instantly } . I have replaced the switch before because it caused a similar problem , but since I had my afmeter replaced , the problem seems to of returned . My thought's were possibly that the relay could be on the blink {getting old} as peter hall was doing some testing {checking voltage's etc } to determine what was giving my car problems before {afmeter was the problem} . If anyone has had any similar problems and found a solution please post it Last thing I want to be hassled by the double bubbles

Seen a red R33 on the way home last night. Seems the driver had something to prove like "hey Im an idiot" He was changing from one lane to another , speeding and what do you know , ended up behind me at the muno para light's anyway. Not as big a wa___r as the guy in the black R33 that I seen last month at salisbury. He was going over the train tracks turning onto salisbury highway and noticed me. He then changed his mind to pull infront of me and when the light's changed, spun his tyres throwing gravel at my car {r32gtr}. Now this kind of behaviour is the lowest kind in my book. If I saw him again I would take his number and report him to the police for hoon driving and hopefully, he would loose his car!

Spoke to b-- the other day and he said he is'nt a memeber of this forum. the car in question is a 97 stagera with 50k's on the clock. It also has a blue metallic in the black paint and looks HOT. Might ask him if he would want to come on a cruise though.
-
Seems the stagera that I saw was a guy's from around the corner from work . Peolpe might see it around if they live or drive around the northern subs.
-
Might catch you around and maybe go for a cruise up gorge, my exhaust sounds great up there!
-
Spoke to Mark today and he said it would be great to see you again. Is your son coming aswell? By the way, misspelt road. {gorge road} Is only a quick trip up it {used to do the trip in 15mins flat out late at night!} but is a nice cruise if you take it slow aswell. Anyway , hope the weather's good while your here and you have a good time cruzing our little town.
-
I hate to say it whiplash but the clutch want come under warranty because it is classed as wear and tear I think. I had to replace mine myself $4500 later.
-
Hey wogboy , mick has left tilbrooks and gone back to the east coast I think . Was a falling out I hear. Mark ain't going anywhere though. You will have to check out one of the best roads though, Up gorge onto northeast back down to tea tree gully, Great scenery and plenty of turns.

A fella that I know that has a R32GTR had his car inpounded at Berri. He told me about it when he came into my work. He said that he was in the main drag out the front of a pharmisist and had to reverse back a meter or 2 , as he did this his tyres screeched because he had a lockertype of diff. He was on his way home about 30km's out of town when a policeman pulled him over . The police man told him to get out of the car and turn it off. Another policeman rocked up and then another. None of them said anything to him until the third rocked up and then they said were inpounding his car for the night. He had to get a hotel for the night and the come home the next day. Now I dont know how bad the wheel spin was {he said nothing other than a slip or 1/2 second chirp} but I seen him on the side of the road 2days later with an officer looking under his bonnet . He was apparently pulled over again 400mtr's down the road again for an unpaid fine. He told me that when he was younger he told an officer to F--- off and I would assume he has a little black mark on his record so to give him a hard time when ever they see him. Now back to the impounding of his car, the coppers took the word of the pharmisist over him {hearsay} and impounded his car . Really this just means that someone might not like you and complain and you will be punished without proof . Now I thought we were innocent untilproven guilty in this country, but thank's to the hoon laws not so. But I fully support them Only if were taking Idiots off the road that are a threat to me, you and our children. Any way hoons that give the rest of us a bad name have only brought this onto themselves. this is my opion anyway !

R32 Gtr Attessa Not Working...
savage GTR replied to lows_13's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I was just wondering if this could be caused by the fluid levels being low? -
Which ones pokie?

Sorry to hear about the double bubbles. Hope none of you got anything other than speeding fines? what happened at elizabeth?

Hey madaz , what did the bubble do you for?
-

Also hope none of ya's had any friendly meeting's with the double bubble's Anyway hope to catch up with ya's maybe on the next cruise and meet some new faces.
