ah ok cool, just curious, shouldn't be that hard to get away with at all on a bike, doubt many traffic cops have the bike models memorised, they're a bit of a grey area anyway, theres no specific capacity specific restrictions anymore (can ride 400's and some 650's etc) could be in trouble if get pulled over by a bike cop tho Surprised there computer system doesn't automatically tell them if ur not allowed

bump, power steering leak fixed, much lighter steering now, i barely even knew it was gone, now it's noticeable as blah got a compression test done too, results were 120 across the board, nice and close =) Also got them to do a quick roadworthy check and it's all good, will get the actual roadworthy when i have a definite buyer

Just wondering if, when a cop does a registration check, does the database they use tell them if the persons driving a vehicle they're not allowed to? For example if ur riding a motorbike, a 250 and it's classed as a high powered 250 and they rego check it, will they have a message pop up saying that i'm not allowed to ride it? Or do they just go on their knowledge of bikes and what i can/cant ride cheers

Don't trust people you know either, i let my sister drive my gtr other day cos i was pissed and stranded, she got in it and started riding the craaaap out of the clutch, was not cool, at all.. clutch is cushioned, but not that cushioned.. and then she complained about how slow and heavy it was while cruising around @ 1500 revs and trying to take off in 2nd gear. She figured it out eventually, but yeh, not cool.

Yeh, my car got 50kw's more in rw mode than in aw mode on the same dyno lol, some dyno's allow for the awkw mode and will read like rw dyno's and some have no correction and will just read the power output at all fours.. Also some will read higher than others because the tuners like them reading that way That's the shiet thing, some peoples stated awd are actually just adjusted to read like rwd figures, at autosalon for example I've always wondered about the power loss.. 50kw's seems alot to lose just to the front wheels being on? How can some legitimate tuners get readings on awd dyno's that are only a few kw's different from the same car in rwd on the same dyno

I just got a new update for the game, i downloaded it manually (not sure if it was a patch as such or what) and it fixed all my problems, game runs perfectly smooth now even at high speeds, pretty sick game.. Absolutely retarded though that now it's perfect and this guy with the x2 is laggy just because of an update Resolution is 1920X1200 or something like that, graphics are all max (except shadows) with view and detail visibility at max Only shiet thing is since this update theres a whole bunch of people who can't get past a certain mission, but meh, fun as just driving around running into shit at the mo

Nah didnt see the performance tests? my pc is eah 4870 1gb 4 gb 1066 amd venom 2 810, friend set it up to 3.5ghz 650w gigabyte pro power spply i just thought it was odd it happens on different graphic settings

K so i got GTA IV other day, and it all runs smooth until i get in a car and drive fast, then it'll run smooth, hang for like 1/4 second then 6 seconds smooth, hang 1/4 then maybe 10 seconds, then hang etc.. like it goes from 30 fps to 3 then 30.. It's only when moving fast, all other GTA games i've played on PC Have done same thing, annoying as hell! Anyway theres alot of people complaining about it but i cant seem to find anyone only complaining about stuttering while driving so was hoping someone on here might have some insight? Other than that the games pretty awesome though My pc is about average to most other people playing games atm, can get specs if needed have written down somewhere Also stuttering is same on all graphic levels

considering it goes that high up i'd venture to say more than a few are.. Think about it, cops are just people, if someone offered me ludicrous amounts of money to turn the other way or forget/lose something i would.. mind you that might just make me an arsehole You see heaps of lesser examples of it on this site with all the people getting defected and treated unfairly just because some cops had a bad day or is a holden/ford fan

Hey mate don't think it was me, live in greensborough, theres a GTAHHH running around, same colour and everything it was probably that dude The engine build didn't really make any noticeable difference in the way the car is, the cam gears dialed in will make a bit of a difference but as the rb26 is already a really well built and finished engine unless your stroking you will end up with the same sort of power you had before hand.. But instead of worrying about the car blowing up at any random time, you can throw some big turbo's on, crank up the boost and have a hell of alot of fun without worrying anymore, which is sick I'll get some more pics of the car CeJay and throw em up tonight or tomorrow

Ah ok, that makes sense, i'm a losty, so what part of the engine measures how rich/lean it is running? Or does the ECU just assumed the engines running the right mixture until it starts detecting knock etc, and go off maps that show how much fuel/air etc it will need based on afm readings, ignition timing, injector duty etc My knowledge of cars made after 85 isn't too crash hot

I got some os giken adj. cam gears thrown into my gtr when i was having it rebuilt, but later got to thinking, considering adjusting the CAS positioning forward or backward retards or advances the timing, cant u just use this ? Do the adj. cam gears adjust it to a greater extent? I am guessing the CAS only adjusts the exhaust side timing not that of the intake side? Did have a look around and found threads saying the adj cam gears are a worthwile upgrade, but is this just for the intake adjustments? I would have thought that too big an adjustment would only cause trouble

this has fixed the problem entirely, the 1.1 bar cap was off another model but with a pair of plyers i ghetto fitted it and hasn't leaked or compressed the overflow since

yeh ur right mate, as long as u go a lower profile tyre and keep the same OD they cant rub because they're the same size, just gotta make sure the offset is right otherwise they will rub.. 17's should fit width wise but they'll have to be fairly thin (or a perfect offset) doubt 8's will fit for example
