  1. www.realultimatepower.net This thread is pure ninja.
  2. and where do they get the $3k from (actually who) ?........
  3. I agree that the snorkel could be improved. But, dyno with the bonnet 'up' isn't really worth anything as it negates the airpressure related position of the snorkel intake.
  4. So far that's two non-performance mods. Good news is you aren't addicted to performance........yet.
  5. I am so excited about making fun of this latest movie. Putting it up FnF and it's fans FTW! ......an easy target
  6. Awesome? Totally! the comments that follow aren't meant to be too harsh.. In terms of taking the movie seriously; are you saying that you are a joke then? I mean you said it's a great movie. That sounds like you seriously mean it. On the other hand I think it's crappy all round and poke fun at it, doesn't sound like I take it serious but, I kind of like to think I'm still a joke too. Truth is I think you stand out on this forum if you like the FnF movies. Making either the forum weird or you, possibly both? But, basically to like the movie puts you in with neons and dose pipes section. It inspires people to make abortions of cars. They are 'Great' for a laugh however whether at a show or driving down the road. Thanks FnF. It inspires people to buy a car (usually some sort of NA in the case of a skyline proving they are into the image not the cars), put on neons, a giant wing , stereo system that weighs so much it negates any performance, talk, dress and drive like a retard (ultimately crashing and increasing everyones insurance premiums on that type of car) and then in 2-5yrs time work out they actually aren't into performane cars just the image and buy a hybrid car and a house . I think this thread is pretty decent 'Wasteland' Material too
  7. Highly ordinary. Ok but, nothing to brag about.
  8. A movie of non-stop cut aways to the sky and the background?

Artref in Jollimont. They are the oldest Apple dealer in Perth and you actually get support as opposed to just an invoice. Price isn't the lowest.
  12. Japan is a very large trade partner. Japan's industry based on product supply from us = secodary and tertiary Australia supplies primary product for this. Primary products attract the lowest value add. If Japan gets a currency flogging so do we. It's not getting better anytime soon. There is still room for it to get worse.
  13. the stock one's work very well upto very decent power levels and can be easily modified to cope with very very high boost.
  14. Because without it you would have to rely on lights and sirens, which aren't going to really attact your attention at all. They obviously don't use flashing lights or beeps to alert the user to Ambo's etc. these ones. Do they punch you in the face instead? If so I am all for this feature being fitted as standard to all radar detectors

They should actually have a medi-alert bracelet style thing. It would say " Stupid from Birth : this person is unable to understand warnings or signs ". The bracelet would also be marked " DO NOT EAT "
  16. Yeah and that bit where you can see the UFO following them in the sky and then it turns on it's neons and gains another 12,000hp and rips past the airliner. And that part where all the racers pile into that yellow bus to go back to the centre, thats way cool.
  17. Yeah. just that the manufacturers of the actual turbos don't agree with you.
  18. Speeding fines are basically just a form of " Stupid Tax ". You can test yourself in a few basic ways; * Have you been to the hospital for eating a packet of desicant in a new DVD box that says " Do not eat "? * You know the published speed limit / read the sign but, speed anyway and find yourself blaming someone else, like the police, the car, your hair cut, the catholic church or your mum. * You own a radar detector for one of two reasons ; a) you want to detect people trying to control your mind with a radar b) you want to break the law and not get caught. In history the Stupid are always taxed because the Stupid tax themselves. " Boo hoo, that road used to be 90km/h and now it's 70km/h it's not fair so I'll keep doing 90km/h and cry when I get fined" ... Hey buddy don't eat that thing, it says 'do not eat'...... Thanks for paying extra tax Stupid, now we can get another Bell Tower / Ferris Wheel
  19. I think that Vin Diesel bloke does the Simple Jack role in the FnF franchise pretty well
  20. I don't go on every cruise but, I get to a couple. I went to the last official antilag one. It had it's fair share of comedy specials.
  21. Don't worry. All you need to do is take off the pod filter completely and grab a bucket of beach sand and let the engine suck in about a cup full while running at 6,000rpm. It will port and polish the head and improve the steering. The Tyres will stick to the road better too.
  22. Getting stubborn rubber hoses off is made easier with Boiling water. Just don't pour it into your eyes or pants for fun.
  23. Wasteland advice doesn't get any better For somewhat better advice go to the "Forced Induction" section. The first thing people should do before they start modding is work out what it is about the car they want to improve or more importantly why they want to improve it. Throw away meaningless advice about mods to do next " fit a FMIC , POD etc..." until you work out the plan. The biggest waste of time is getting into the " I want 400rwhp....." mindset. It is a place many start but, ultimately get away from it as fast as you can, one power number means nothing in the scheme of achieving a result. rev210's 2c
