  1. Have your parts arrived yet? I'm pretty keen to see photos of them
  2. Had the same problem but have not actually got around to changing my 02 sensor, its still just unplugged at the moment. Mileage went up by about 80kms per $60 of petrol though. Not sure whether it will get better or worse when I plug it back in with the new one. Before I unplugged it it was running so rich I'm sure there was raw fuel coming out the back end Lead foot does play a big part though. Drove from Hamilton to Auckland (about 80km) like a Nana then drove a 3rd of the way back (about 25km) at 120km/h & I had used about twice as much gas as I did for the whole distance of the original trip. Went back to driving like a Nana for the remaining 55kms.
  3. You do need to trim the (I think) top locating lug on the lamps to fit into the Stagea bumper hole. 10 seconds with a hacksaw blade
  4. Well I wasn't going to do it that way but realising that I'm going to have access to a hoist & gearbox jack and I have to drill the hole for the clutch master cylinder, its probably the best way to go. It'd probably take me an hour & a half to undo the gearbox bolts in which time I could probably drop the whole front subframe out anyway. Cheers
  5. Oh yeah. True. I am going to test fit the pedals before I get to carried away too
  6. Could someone please confirm if I have missed anything as I may be doing this swap over the coming weekend. R33 GTS25 4WD Gearbox & Transfer Case (Push Type) R33 GTS 25T Flywheel & Bolts R33 GTS 25T Clutch & Pressure Plate R33 GTR Quick-Shift Gear lever R34 Clutch Pedal R34 Brake Pedal R33 Clutch Master Cylinder & Lines Spigot Bush (for end of Crankshaft) R33 Handbrake Lever Assembly R34 Centre Console Assembly (to be fused with Stagea Console) Do I need to pull my dash to drill the hole for the Clutch Master Cylinder? So far I think I'm up to NZ$1500 in parts
  7. Ok. FULLY modded inc NOS but with the TCS & ACS turned off = 0'09.371. I'll post a screen shot when I can find my camera. Might try it with the TCS on & see what I get
  8. I had just about beaten the 9.349 & now you tell me we can use TCS
  9. I wondered about that. You just answered the question I was going to ask
  10. You Lucky bastard!!! Do all the S2 RS Four's come with these?
  11. I don't know how much money it would save anyone looking at following beastien's lead but the last part number - the Holder Assy-Cup - uses an R34 Skyline part number. Which means you may be able to purchase it second hand locally of an R34. Just a thought
  12. Strange. The other RS Four I have in the yard is also a 4.0....................... Can anybody tell me about the crossmember?
  13. Thanks Duncan, will come back to you at the end of the month. Just shifting house at the moment
  14. Thats bizarre. I have a diff ratio of 4.0:1 in my Stagea Can anyone tell me whether I can reuse the auto crossmember or do I need to get a manual one with my gearbox?
  15. Ok is it just me or does this look like its not recessed? http://stagea.st.funpic.org/082105/stagea29.JPG http://stagea.st.funpic.org/082105/stagea28.JPG (hope you don't mind this Ska)
  16. Thanks Brad, appreciate it
  17. So an R33 RB25DE 4WD pedal box won't bolt up then? They are a push-type box but I'm thinking it may be the way to go so I don't have to modify the firewall The other thing I am wondering about is the Brake Booster. They are much bigger on the Stagea compared to the R33 Skyline unit. Does this need to be changed or is there enough room..................actually I might change it anyway, firm up the pedal a bit Oh & has anyone got pics of the recess job on the firewall?
  18. Can anyone tell me why I would have to use the GTR vacuum assist clutch master cylinder. Surely I could just use a standard GTS25T non-assisted so I wouldn't have to recess my firewall & just have a slightly heavier pedal
  19. Has anyone fitted one of these units to their C34 Stagea? I'm pretty keen to try one out. How much to ship to NZ?
  20. Thanks AlexCim. Just out of interest; where is the amplifier? In the LR 1/4 below the Cargo glass?
  21. Can anyone tell me whether the rear aerial has a power amplifier & if so which colour wire I need to plug into to with the 0.1A aerial wire from my Headunit
  22. Fell in love with them about 6 or 7 years ago after seeing them in HPI & "driving" them in Gran Turismo. Swore I would one day get one. Finally got one after the wife & I separated but wanted to show her that I was still thinking of the "family" by getting a Stationwagon. Besides that I'm pretty much over the whole Skyline thing although I did briefly entertain the idea of an R34 GT-T sedan. Oh I have a 2 yo & two dogs aswell although being white, they're not allowed in it
  23. Could I run an R33 PFC on my S1 Stagea RB25DET/auto/4WD?
  24. I have this exact same problem on my S1 Stagea where it also does a little backfire/miss on gear changes if I'm treading it. The other thing is it sometimes (usually after starting after it has already been warmed up) it runs likes its flooded. After about half a block of not wanting to rev up it eventually clears its self & off we go. I have cleaned the coils (no obvious cracks that I could see but will check them again), regapped plugs down to 0.8 & have just cleaned out A/F meter. If that doesn't do it then I'll try cleaning out the AAC valve. Has anyone else had probs with the "flooding"?
