  1. Hi all... I put my car in a Dyno day on Sunday, got 420HP on the first run then put a couple of blokes in the back seat and got 466HP anyway the power is not the topic, When it was on the second run my brother noticed a bit of smoke come up from near the inlet plenum, so i went and had a look and their was oil on top of the oil cap and on the side of the rocker cover and it looks like it has been the point of impact, but i can't think of where it would come from...

  3. sounds like ur BOV is set for to high of pressure drop... loosen up ur BOV and see if that helps...
  4. if your A/C is hot it doesn't just need a re-gas... refrigerant doesn't go off... it'll have a leak somewhere... if you bought through a car yard get it fixed under warranty...
  5. your fuel pump should not run out of leggs at that Kw.... I'm running 335Kw with the same pump... i haven't heard many good reviews on microtech, go for a PFC or Vipec or if your going to go all out on mods later on get a haltech or something...
  6. does your fuel and rpm come up when cranking... U might have forgot to plug in the signal wires.... Take it out and double check u plugged all three connectors in...
  7. should be right... it won't be out by much.... It should only be a 10 minute job... just ring your mechanic and tell him whats happening, they probably won't even charge you for it... depending on the machanic
  8. i just go off the coil wires... just push back the outer insulation... a lot easier
  9. yeh it won't run as good as it should be running... less economical etc...
  10. you need to use a timing light... it fires a light every time the No.1 cylinder fires, you aim it at the harmonic balancer. The balancer has markings of 5 degrees on it and there is a mark on the lower timing belt cover. best to get your mechanic to check it...
  11. timing isn't right.... check that it is set to 15 degrees or take it to the work shop that did the service...
  12. colder air = denser air = more oxygen molecules.... what mods do you have when i first installed mine my boost went from 7psi to 9psi...
  13. yeah i've had that happen to me... Also if it's raining in your area check that your pod hasn't managed to get some water on it as well...
  14. yeah mine is externally gated... i was thinking about it on the way home from work and i reckon u should stick with a GT30 .84 better response and your not after big numbers... The only reason i went GT35 is i'm going to do a 3-3.4ltr block and i didn't wanna buy 2 turbos...
  15. GT35... look below for my results... I had my GT35 low mounted on my customised factory manifold... if you want a big turbo it's a good choice...
  16. I have 6 stock injectors sitting under the house doing nothing if you wanna make an offer... i wouldn't risk it, i had a small leak in my new system (fitting not seated properly) when i primed it, it covered my engine bay in about 2 seconds. if it got any bigger your leak will be dangerous...
  17. Doesn't work anymore... loop hole closed... There's a guy on here with a fully modded 33gtst that past emissions, power fc tuned buy himself... he should be able to give you some advice...

  19. I got A Ross balancer through Slide a while ago... looks great...
  20. why are you installing injectors before the turbo.... the ecu is tuned to run the injectors with the forced induction, all the problems you have are the sign of over fueling, if you's keep running it u'll burn out the cat (thats why the light is coming on, it's getting to hot), install all the components needed Turbo, intercooler, pump, FPR...
  21. Just go to a different mechanic that will pass it... and thats not your problem it is up to the seller to get a RWC not you...
  22. read the change spark plugs DIY, But do the coil packs instead of the spark plugs.... unless its time to do them as well... while it's apart...
  23. Had a look for the spec's on mine but couldn't find any info on them... but they are TEIN sports spec Type HA Driving master DKN64 - 11531-L ECR33 - FL 20012 if anyone knows specs can you let me know??
  24. Get some pics and post them up... I don't think the rust would be a big problem (just give it a clean...) I don't know why the valve would be unplugged, plug it in and see what happens, if it doesn't work theirs no reason that you can't just get an r33 one and put it on, i don't think they'll change from the R33 to the R34...
